I am getting an offer of 20000 PLN gross in gdansk, how is the salary?
How much will be net salary?
How much I can save with wife and 2 kids (5 years and 3 years)?
Can you please provide details of living cost (housing/internet/phone/electricity/water/food/medical/transportation etc.)?

Thanks terri for information.
My wife will not work, will file tax jointly. Kids may go to English schools. Wife will cook food at home. We eat out not very frequent.

I think kids should be eligible for 500+.

I have checked many websites and all show only fully furnished apartment available. Are all rental apartment fully furnished in Poland?

Law / Dispute with Landlord - overcharged for renovation [7]

Hi All,
Could you please help me on my situation?
I am living in Gdansk, Poland for 10 months and now I gave 1 month notice to vacate the apartment as moving out of Poland.
My kids did some coloring on the walls and scratched here and there. I asked LL to provide me the estimate to fix these things. But, she gave me the estimate of 6000 zl for 52 m2 apartment for renovation and asking money. As the cost is huge, I said that I would get all the work done by myself. Now I found a painter to get all the works done. Now she is saying that I can not get the renovation done without her consent and now she is not giving consent. Rather she is threatening me to report my debt to the Voivodship Office so that I can not get the TRC.

What should I do in this situation? Could you please suggest?

I have update here, I surrender my deposit and leave the apartment as LL was threatening me to kick out.
Also, I moved out from the Poland.
I have received a summon from a lawyer in my email, he is asking to pay the renovated cost by some date. Could you please help me to understand about summon.

Can lawyer send summon via email in Poland? Normally court send notice if lawyer want to file a case. As I am not in Poland, what could I do?
