Language / POLISH 18 - 30 years old know MUCH BETTER ENGLISH language than their own native language! [102]

I've only met 1 person who spoke English really well, but she's studying it at Uni. I'd say her Polish is a lot better.

I don't think being able to say a few things in English means they know it better than their own language.

I've seen 1 or 2 Polish men I would consider handsome, the rest seem to be bordering on average. There are a lot of beautiful women though!

UK, Ireland / Question about UK Government Reach! Polish citizen vs HMRC [4]

If a Polish citizen needs to pay back money to the HMRC in the UK due to overpayment of benefits, are the HMRC or Government in general allowed to find out if the citizen has assets i.e.property in Poland?

Thanks in advance.

I should also mention that the citizen now lives back in Poland.

There's nothing wrong with not finding Polish women attractive, but you must be seeing the wrong women because there are a lot of very attractive women where I live and it's a small town.

Lastly, we( educated people ) know that liking someone is all about biology. To produce better human race, we need better genes, and when we're looking for someone to have sex, our biological consciousness searching for girl who has good genes to make a child.

Hahaha, oh my Lord you are deluded! The fact that you believe that shows you are not an educated person, because an educated person knows that finding someone attractive is just something that happens, and whilst we can say we prefer certain traits and attributes the person we fall in love with might not necessarily have any of them.

Law / Do I need proof of name change when registering in Poland? [3]

So I was going to be registering tomorrow and I was looking at the form before filling it in and noticed it asks for previous surnames. My name was changed as a child and I then changed it myself as an adult.

Does anyone know if the documents are required, translated of course, or will just my passport do?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

News / Surprising ranking of Polish supermarkets (Biedronka expensive?) Living expenses in Poland. [35]

I don't read Polish but I can only assume that Biedronka being 14 means it is not one of the cheapest. If so, then that is a shame as it is the only supermarket available to me in the small town I live in, with Tesco being a 10-15 drive by car which we don't have.

Law / Transferring money between Polish banks - is the address, postcode and town/city required? [2]

Is there a bank in Poland that requires the address, postcode and town/city or does every bank only require the name and account number when transferring from one Polish bank to another?
