Love / How do Polish men feel about gender equality? [780]

Even as children, it is noticeable that girls gravitate to dolls, etc. while boys go for toy trucks, soldiers, etc. Many feminists have a problem with this because human nature opposes their bogus theories of "social constructs".

They put this theory into practice in some kindergardens in USA by giving boys dolls to play with.I guess the experiments were not inspiring in fact a boy who plays with dolls or dresses in female clothes is likely to become a sissy afterwards as common knowledge shows.

I used to be a little girl and I can still remember how I totally LOVED playing with dolls.

Boys can never understand how a doll can be interesting.I mean what is the goal how do you score points, who is your enemy, how you beat him, there is no reason with dolls.Cars, weapons, balls make perfect sense we used to see girls as useless who could not run, chase, play ball and just sat all day with dolls or were discussing.

Life / Poles and their listening skills [22]

I am aware that I have to say very few things that would mind to a Pole so I do not expect any positive feedback.

Life / Poles and their listening skills [22]

It depends on what you say to them.If they find it interesting they will listen. If not they will fart on you as we say here. Many of the features attributed to Poles in this forum can also be found among Germans.

but rather a response to the Toronto Police Force whose spokesman claimed women who get raped are culpable for "dressing like sluts".

We have though to keep in mind that in feminist countries definition of rape is extended to include several cases which many men are not inclined to consider rape.(see Assange case).Really only muslims see provocative dressing as a consent to rape that is if you disregard this you are ad hoc against multi culti(like Toronto claims).

They have confused their hips as we say here.

slut walks"

Slut walks are dangerous. They try to legalize dating I mean put law enforcement into dating.Till now you have legal responsibilities only after marriage.

History / Where did the power of Poland vanish to, since... let`s say, some 300 years ago? [180]

We have also to keep in mind that when Russians offer a treaty they usually contain some terms which can easily be viewed as violation of internal control or dependancy.Poles did not probably want to become a vassal state to Russia sharing the fate of Belarus or Ukraine that is why they resisted. If Russians displayed a tact(which I doubt in those circumstances) and let the nationalism of Poles intact they may have succeeded but it was doomed from the begiining due to mutual suspicion of orthodox towards catholics I mean Russians did not trust Poles and Poles did not trust Russians.

There was also no visible common danger to unite Russians and Poles aka united Germany so the Russians acted in comfort they just got the strategical advantage of controlling biggest part of Poland letting Germans suppressing the polish minorities inside their borders since they(the Russians) could not appear as slavic protectors.

If the Russians trusted Poles they would give them independance and press Germany for the rights of polish minorities.Generally the Russians never worked out a panslavic scheme for slavic domination in Europe moreover when such a scheme had fanatic enemies inside and outside of slavic countries.

Between the two choices germanic or russian rule millions of Slavs would choose germanic and both sides were aware of that.

that Poland failed to choose her friends wisely but was/is regularly giving her trust to false friends and, on the other side, Poland was ready to confront very strong opponents

It is rather idiotic to trust the French and confront the Germans and the Russians at the same time.Germans and Russians always avoided like hell to open simoultaneously an eastern and western front.Poles allied with Russians would be a deadly threat for Prussia and a cause of instability for Austria. But this requires large politics and big game.

The English decided to protect the integrity of Ottoman Empire to block russian expansionism and keep the balance of power in Europe.English were not in position to offer any help to Poland.Poland was left on its own.The integrity of Poland never served any foreign force interests.

Love / Polish women are the most beautiful in the world! [1718]

ll Poles who are not lucky enough to be mixed with another nationality: put bags over your heads, pop out some eyeholes, paint little Polish flags right in the middle of where the forehead will be, and wear it whenever you go out. Dont forget it, please.

Have you taken your advice?

The difference is profound, while there are some similarities, aka "slavic", but the Czech are definitely pretty and the Poles are definitely a$$-ugly

You are seriously deluded man. Both Poles and Czechs look like Slavs.I doubt if you can tell them apart when on holidays.

History / Whom do the people in Poland hate more: Germans or Russians? [869]

I think that Germans hate Poles more than Poles hating Germans but Poles hate Russians more than Russians hate Poles. However Russians hate Germans more than Germans hate Russians. It has to do with history I guess.

Life / Why Poles have so pro-emigration attitude? [92]

I know what you mean, but with loads of cheese-grinning people posing under the Arbeit macht Frei sign, I'm afraid it has to be considered as one.

Poles should pay Germany royalties for exploiting Auschwitz.Just kidding.

It is the whole slavic mentality that drives business back from the western point of view.I saw the same in Turkey the muslim mentality is damaging for business.

Rich and poor are based on a consesus. These social contracts were developed in Germany during the last century and late 19th century and now they are iron made I mean they were created through so much bloodshed that anyone willing to challenge them must be ready to pay an equal amount of bloodshed so they are not disputed.

Germany is rich country because of hard disciplinary work and a fair relatively wage distribution.Relatively because there are many skeletons behind that.

I mean, I know reason, who has salary in Poland 500 Euro he wants 1500 Euro in abroad and who has 1000 wants 3000 in abroad.

Exactly.Mind you this is rather important. This means for example that a Pole working abroad can afford to buy a house in Poland in 5 years while if he stays in Poland he will just survive. There are also luxuries that Poles want like good cars etc which they cannot afford by polish salaries.

Life / Do you think that Polish people are rude? [951]

Also in Germany when you ask how are you the Germans start talking about their bowel movements. But you know instantly that is not a legitimate question to ask like we do in mediteranean countries. Here you can also say hi,how does it go?,hi what happens?,hi what do you do?,ho what does it say? etc.

How can I wait for the damn verb that comes at the end of the sentence, not having a clue what the speaker wants to say until he finishes it? It forces one to really listen :))

They have largely copied the ancient greek grammar and syntax but they omitted the grace. It is painful to learn while I learned ancient greek with joy.

The Germans have one specific word for every meaning. If you don't write this word you don't say anything.Contrary to that in english one word can have lots of meanings(for example run etc). And in german you have to put everything in the right order in terms of syntax and correct in terms of grammar so you need to apply rules and pay attention to detail. This attention to detail is what gives Germans an edge in mechanics and several other stuff sometimes you just want to express a general idea and it is impossible because you get challenged in details you have to describe everything analytically and in order too mind consuming and painful for the mediteranean.
