ZUS is a big payment and I understand that it can be a strain on the employers and one man companies but there is one thing- if you don't want to pay ZUS, cool, but don't moan after that you don't have a pension. It's like with our stars that never paid ZUS and now complain they have 500 zl of pension.

It was almost soft prn. The girls are pretty and sexy however it doesn't mean that song deserved to win. Compare that to Edyta Górniak and you can see the huge gap between these two.

Warsaw is not whole Poland, please try to remember that. It's hard to deny that compared to the past the ammount of Jews in Poland is very, VERY small. I don't want to say I would be against Jews coming to Poland, I just want to say that we don't have a big group of Jews in Poland.

Yes, and even more than 10 years. Compromises are necesarry but it can have a lot of adventages as well. It all comes to one- you fall in love with a person, not some foggy idea of nationality.

Listen, I met different men, of course mostly Polish, however few foreigners as well. I always looked at what kind of person the guy is not at his passport.

Stability has nothing to do with nationality. If you met a guy you judge by his character how grown up is he, not by the nationality- that argument is simply invalid.

It's funny how the ppl that claim they know what Polish women like are men... I would choose character over nationality anytime. If the Polish/Serbian guy suited me more, cool but if the American guy had traits I'm looking for I would choose him. Simple as that. I wouldn't look at some mysterious national traits.

Ppl decided by voting in referendum, that was the decission of Poles- deal with it.

The difference is- Russia didn't ask us what we want which means agression. EU asked Poles what we want and ppl decided they want to join it- that's called Union.

The situation around Silesia? I live in Silesia, there is no threatening situation here. If ppl will manage to orginise referendum (which is doubtful imo) ppl will decide what they want to do. That's all.

Well, I don't think it's too possible. Poles generally look more towards west than east that's one...2- the misterious Slavdom monster is kind of a foggy idea...3- who'd try to patronize, manipulate and all that? 4- would these mysterious forces attack us military?

I understand Pam and I know you are not one of the know-it-all person however your reaction was absolutely wrong considering it's a neutral word in Polish. You asked now but many ppl instead of asking and learning will transfer the bad connotations of English into Polish which is wrong. It's a bit like with "when in Rome...". While using Polish one has to apply not only grammatical rules but also cultural aspect of the language.

To me it all goes to one- foreigners (not all off them) cannot be a.... to ask Poles or use dictionaries. And cannot be bothered to aclimatize in our culture instead telling us what we can and cannot do.

Look at Pam's post (no insult or personal attack intended, I hope you know that Pam, just an example):
She was talking to a Pole, in POLISH. Yet after the word mulat was said she didn't ask him about the meaning of the word in Polish. She didn't even said: Listen, I'm not sure about the connotations in Polish but here it's considered a rude word. She said she doesn't want to hear the word again.

I asked all Poles I could (3 now) about that sentence and not even one recognised the meaning when I said it the first time. All ppl said it's absolutely not written by a native speaker. One person added that whoever tries to make it a "Polish" graffiti has something wrong with their heads (I'm just a messanger).

Harry and Jon you are really trying to push it even though it's evident now I think that you are simply wrong.
As to the graffiti text- as Magdalena said- it's not only grammatically incorect- it's basically incomprehensible. No native Polish speaker would say that. However I'm sure both of you will tell us we are wrong :) After all who are we, mere native speakers, to argue with two language master minds like you :)

Don't put words into my mouth Jon, it won't work. If someone isn't a native speaker he may perceive a word in the wrong way however it doesn't change the original meaning of the word. And you, instead of asking, are trying to push your own understanding of the word down our throats. It simply won't work cos you are wrong.

It's like I used some word in English, I was told that it's the wrong word to use in that context but I told you you are wrong cos I know better.
