Nochills 10 May 2014 #3I totally hate Eurovision muzak but love Polish EDM, check out Kobana and Deersky on Soundcloud instead.
Wulkan - | 3,243 10 May 2014 #4That's right. It's Eurovision, starting in about half an hour.Just do what I do. Dont watch it.
OP WielkiPolak 58 | 1,024 10 May 2014 #5Unfortunately the computer is in the main room. The TV is there and my mum and sister are watching. I have my headphones on though and am trying to listen to other sounds while browsing the net.
Englishman 2 | 278 10 May 2014 #6On the positive side, pretty girls with nice voices. On the negative, the lyrics and cheesy outfits. Typical Eurovision fare, I guess.
OP WielkiPolak 58 | 1,024 10 May 2014 #7You referring to Poland or just in general? I was embarrassed by Poland's 'get your tits out and people will like it' approach this year. Really shameful.
Englishman 2 | 278 10 May 2014 #8I was referring to Poland's entry, but could easily have been describing most of them. Agree with you about the tits-out costume.
Mister H 11 | 761 11 May 2014 #9On the positive side, pretty girls with nice voices. On the negative, the lyrics and cheesy outfits. Typical Eurovision fare, I guess.By Jove! The woman with the butter churn had a cracking pair ;) :D
goofy_the_dog 11 May 2014 #14On the contrary i think that Poland did really well!We came second.I know that for a lot of forumers to be a progressive/modern type you need to be at least gay, or have a beqrd and claim to be a woman (hahaha circus).. But personally id like to watch good vocals, and the praise of the Polish folkstyle, plus id rather enjoy watching normal, healthy women than a heshe !Are all Austrian women like that? --- (there will be plenty of jokes like that now)
Cardno85 31 | 976 11 May 2014 #15We came second.No you didn't, Poland were 14th. I thought the winning song was rubbish, I personally most enjoyed Malta and Switzerland's entries.
OP WielkiPolak 58 | 1,024 11 May 2014 #16I thought the winning song was rubbishI agree. So why did it win?
Wroclaw Boy 11 May 2014 #17So why did it win?Because the general European taste in music is absolutely terrible. Visit any country around the world and i guarantee that on the most commonly listened radio stations you will hear the lions share of music being from the UK and the USA.
goofy_the_dog 11 May 2014 #18Read up on how they choose the winners, the jury that they pick plays a big role in it.It was motivated by political reasons, genderism, and lgbt :-(Just because heshe had a beard.. I highly doubt that it was because of what the heshe aka sausage actually sangI think that the Polish was really good, really nice women, dresses, song and Cleos voice = AWESOME
OP WielkiPolak 58 | 1,024 11 May 2014 #19Read up? Where? Surely they don't publish criteria for who they pick. Anyway I thought it was the audience who vote, or is that a lie and the calls aren't counted?
Wulkan - | 3,243 11 May 2014 #20You can't win a song competition with the average song and 2 pairs of tits on the front of the stage. The audience votes for Poland were high because there are Poles all over the Europe.
Lenka 5 | 3,255 11 May 2014 #21It was almost soft prn. The girls are pretty and sexy however it doesn't mean that song deserved to win. Compare that to Edyta Górniak and you can see the huge gap between these two.
Ladna - | 6 11 May 2014 #23Merged: Poland superb at Eurovision!!!I was amazed at Poland's performance at this year's Eurovision. Although Poland did not win, it does not matter, It is, unfortunately, a politically correct contest and good tunes and performances do not, on most occasions, see the justice delivered their way, and hopefully in the future this will change, but for me this was not as much about Poland winning as about seeing my country deliver a great performance on many levels and I am glad this has finally happened. The song is a mixture of Polish folklore dance tunes (Krakowiak) and modern sounds, and out of that the accordion and the flu part was the best! The dress, dancing and the singing and the additional spectacle with the woman flirting with the audience just blew me away, this was a sexual song and it was performed at its finest. This is "Slavic blood" and we are proud of it! We were the only ones this year to have delivered a truly folklore tune that not only has presented an element of our culture but was able to capture the audience all around the Eurovision. The theme chosen was sexual, this was quite fitting since sex sells, but not everyone can deliver it, we are passionate, we are sexual (not to be confused with prostitution by prudish western viewers), we have a nerve and we have shown it in a superb manner, because we can. Poland delivered its best performance yet, I hope that folklore does not die, this year Poland kept it alive and I am so very, very proud of what my country has shown on the international scene. Go Slavic/Polish passion! Forever!telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/eurovision/10823111/Poland-were-the-real-Eurovision-winners-say-UK-public.html
goofy_the_dog 11 May 2014 #24The song was about Slavic girls being the prettiest, i dont whats wrong with a perfectly healthy nice looking women...I see a lot of wrong about that sausage guy from Austria. His song was just a mehh, if the calls texts from the ppl would be fully taken into account Poland would come 3rd.. But because its fifty fifty between the public and some dodgy juries who were told how to vote by their PoliticalCorrectness managers we can this tragic-comical result of a woman or a man with a beard winning this competition...Next year i suppose that to secure Polands 1st place we should make Grodzkie and Biedron sing a duet and then marry on stage.. That would make the PC of this whole circus howl in happiness. Its sad that Europe is falling so fast.
Wulkan - | 3,243 11 May 2014 #25It was almost soft púrn. The girls are pretty and sexy however it doesn't mean that song deserved to win. Compare that to Edyta Górniak and you can see the huge gap between these two.and what can be more said to that, it shows Poland in a bad way, especially women who are shown in this song like nothing more than the sexual objects.
Lenka 5 | 3,255 11 May 2014 #26And then thanks to that you have things like that:polishforums.com/friends-35/girls-70955/if the calls texts from the ppl would be fully taken into account Poland would come 3rd..5th not 3rd.It's a lousy meaningless song. Nothing more. And I hope not too many men will think this way about Polish girls
Wulkan - | 3,243 11 May 2014 #27The song was about Slavic girls being the prettiestthere are no prettiest girls in any country. If you wanna come to the world telling them that something yours is the best you will be taken as someone with no self-criticism which is also known negative Polish trait that was presented in this terrible song.
goofy_the_dog 11 May 2014 #28Ohh lenka stop being so jleaous! ;)Polands girls are better than some heshe with a penis clearly visible in that dress of his.. Simply put yuck!
Wulkan - | 3,243 11 May 2014 #29Ohh lenka stop being so jleaous! ;)She has nothing to be jealous of, she is Polish herself. Any girls are better than a transvestite
Lenka 5 | 3,255 11 May 2014 #30Ohh lenka stop being so jleaous! ;)Of what? I am Polish and quite frankly I wouldn't respect myself if the only think recomending me was that "I can move what my mom gave me". But well, choose a girl like that and I wish you happiness.Polands girls are better than some heshe with a penis clearly visible in that dress of his.. Simply put yuck!Is it a beauty contest? Because from what I know it's about singing and not "how hot the singer is". Don't like it then don't look.
