I notice it a little here but it's little worse than in Scotland. They do seem caught up in themselves at times. Still, the Japanese are either manic (young folk) or gone (old people). Cycling on the pavement with old people is catastrophic if you've had a couple of jars.

IMHO is better :) Still, it is not for us to impose our vision on Polish people. They have to find their own way and go with what suits them (or what they think suits them).

What is good fashion is highly subjective. You mean what is in and is generally accepted as the fashion of the day. Well, EMO is quite quirky. It's a visual response to the humdrum of society.

I'd rather wear some of the things I see here than some of the sad excuse for fashion that exists on elite catwalks. Shouldn't there be dogwalks for guys? :)

Fashion swings in roundabouts. Why is it ok for Britain to have countless 70's retro nights and not for Poland to have their own fashions? Polish fashion is just different, it'd be safer to state it that way. Can you give me an example of what you mean by dated, Chris? What did you have in mind?

Mullets are a mainstay in the deep south of America. Nobody can criticise the US for not being fashionable.

WB may appear cynical to many but he is right on the money half the time. No, I ain't a dog (Snatch) but my experiences square with his. Although I prefer to look at the positive side of things, I can't help but see the other side. I was made to wait 15 mins today whilst the shop assistant decided if she had given me change or not. She wouldn't have made a Pole wait that long. That was purely bloody-minded and wasted my time. I was right and I told her I was. Time is money these days and she gave me nothing for wasting it.

As for banks, DON'T go to PKO. They are lazy bas*ards who don't give a Castlemaine XXXX. They keep you waiting forever and frown as a matter of principle. They should be slapped with huge fish.

As a Scot, I love the przecena section in Żabka :) There is one just round the corner from my school and it's always good to see what discounted items they have. I love the dairy in Poland although the cheese isn't quite as good as in the UK, Germany and France.
