USA, Canada / What Airline do you take to Poland from Chicago? [105]

I happen to call the corridor you have to walk through to get to the plane "the terminal" Sorry, if that isn't the correct terminology, but these 2 trolls know fully well what I was talking about. Its just more proof of their abuse and bullying on this forum!

United Lot or what

Im sorry you have to deal with such infantile posters on this forum.

I would definitely go with LOT because they fly non stop to Poland.

I used another carrier once and was laid over at Heathrow for 6 hours, not fun:(

Just fly with LOT its A LOT easier!! LoL

Life / Why are Poles always so miserable? Why do they never smile? [512]

No one ever smiles. Everyone has a long face and seems to be constantly miserable.

I think its more of a miserable European trait.

Most Poles in Chicago seem apparently happy and friendly. You do run across an occasional grumpy person, but not many. Its probably become they found decent jobs, making higher wages. They own nice homes and cars now. There is a thriving Polish community here in Chicago and business is good!

They have plenty to be happy about, rather than living in gloomy old Europe! LoL

it has something to do with there communist history and weather:)

And all the low paying jobs have to contribute to their misery as well. Especially when some expat is willing to come into their country and take these low paying jobs, forcing native Poles to keep working for peanuts.

Too bad they don't have unions in Poland like we do in the USA and Germany.

News / Poles say a big YES to our European Union [996]

Poles are the most favourable towards the EU: 88%

Im sure that percentage will be dropping down significantly after the religion of peace struck again today!
Seems like fake stats, coming from you it most likely is.

Poles have already said

They don't want these savages pouring into their country and I don't blame them one ioda.

It`s a hard language to learn and takes a lot of time. Im thinking about going to Poland in September, so Ive been practicing:)

Ill be going to the Krakow area

USA, Canada / Orbits Restauraunt in Chicago? Has it closed? [32]

much like "Zum Deutschen Eck" was the meeting place for the German people

I used to bartend at the Zum back when I was going to school...lol
Its gone now, yuppie condos took its place:(

Jolly Inn is still very authentic polish

This is probably the best one on your list, its awesome!

Most of these restaurants are closed down now and the neighborhoods have be overtaken by Mexican gangs.
Unfortunately, Chicago is a sanctuary city and anything goes!

They used to be on Milwaukee/Pulaski

Most Poles have moved away from this area and out to the suburbs.

You don't want to go around here at night, be careful if you do!

News / Why Poland has no problem with terrorism [64]

nothing can be done now to save Britain from its past Imigration errors.

You can try by changing your gun law policies, then deport some of these animals.

Freedom Keep and Bear!

It seems to me all media outlets are avoiding the question of why there are terror attacks in Europe.

Not all of them just the biased liberal ones.

USA, Canada / Polish-American criminals [70]

As we can see yet again,

You don't live here and don't know squat about America, get off your high horse and find a job you useless piece of crap!

Perhaps the only solution is to provide all immigrants to the US with a gun s

That is the dumbest comment Ive ever heard coming from a Libturd!!! LoL

American men towards defenceless minorities.

One story and this bigot paints our whole country in this way.

News / Polish LGBT activists perform tribute to George Michael [38]

I remember when this pervert was arrested in a Los Angeles public bathroom for performing a "Lewd Act" by an undercover Police Officer.

And busted again!

At least our public bathrooms have become a little safer since the deviant is gone:)

Food / Does beer have any "real" expire date? [39]

Thats if you have beer sitting around that long....Not by me! haha

I used to have a beer can collection when I was a child (seriously) and years later when I was in high school I found the box in my parents garage.

It was the most rancid tasting thing I can remember!

Life / Poland's Prison System Compared to America's [36]

outsourced to cheaper countries (sentances greater than 3 years), such as India and China

Im sure that would make them think twice before committing a crime!

Life / Poland's Prison System Compared to America's [36]

Rehab and/or legalisation is almost certainly cheaper and more humane in the long run

Some of these less violent criminals, like drug offenders should be in these programs instead of clogging up the system.

Its very expensive to the tax payers.

forget about the effect it has on the whole family

It is very sad, go visit someone at a prison its like being at a funeral without being searched.

As for violent criminals, we really don't have a choice but to keep them off the streets.

Life / Poland's Prison System Compared to America's [36]

Some interesting statistics from the Federal Bureau of Prisons
bop.gov/about/statistics/statistics_inmate_citizenship.jsp
Most people are incarcerated for drug offenses. This doesn't include state and county jails either.

Decades of prison visiting as a volunteer here, plus having worked in one elsewhere.

I spent a few days in cook county jail in Chicago. It`s the worst jail in the country.

This was when I was much younger, never will forget it, totally messed up people. I seen a guard smash a guys face into a wall.

Not to mention its very humiliating and they treat you like an animal!

I decide to stay out of trouble after that....lol

Food / What Polish foods do foreigners generally not take to? [140]

Americans are usually fond of the stereotypical old standbys: kapusta, kiełbasa, gołąbki, pierogi, krupnik, naleśniki, pączki and a few other favourites

Oh, Yes! I love it! You forgot about my favorite, Zrazy!!!!

but often draw the line at such things as tripe (flaki), black pudding (kaszanka), jellied pig trotters (zimne nogI) and aspic dishes in general.

Ewww, that rivals the plastic cheese. LoL

UK, Ireland / What can I say/do about my Polish neighbours in the UK? [65]

Once more, Joker, the Poles don't have a monopoly on playing loud music etc.

More like drunk driving is their forte.
Our dear Polish neighbor kid was drunk driving 135 mph on a residential street, he hit a van full of children and killed 4 people and himself.

This just happened a few weeks ago. So don't lecture me about immigrants in my country!

r, then the note inside the lift idea might do the trick:-)

Or a nice baseball bat will do the trick:)

UK, Ireland / What can I say/do about my Polish neighbours in the UK? [65]

what do you want? the police to come round and shoot them?

No, The first time the police come they usually warn you, the 2nd time they will issue a ticket, the 3rd time they arrest you.

The crime is called disturbing the peace or disorderly conduct take your pick.

Its doesn't matter if its loud music, parties, And yes throwing tables around an apartment building is included.

If it sounds like domestic violence, the cops will come and you will go....LoL

There are rules in the US and UK the immigrant Poles refuse to follow, let them be arrested, deported, it`s their own ignorance that gets them into trouble.

UK, Ireland / What can I say/do about my Polish neighbours in the UK? [65]

But these people are not illegal immigrants. They have a legal right to be in the UK so it wouldn't make any difference.

Thats the problem, they know they can get away with it in the UK.
Their mentality is who cares about rules when they aren't going to be enforced?

You can only call the police if the noise constitutes a breach of the peace

Pretty lax laws in the UK, Cops don't have guns, you can just laugh at them and do as you please....LoL

Frankly, the Polish people in the UK are the least of our worries. Stop trying to stir the pot.

I know there is a huge Muslim problem in the UK and many other European countries.
they will slam or ban you on this PC forum for talking about it.

Powodzenia!!

UK, Ireland / What can I say/do about my Polish neighbours in the UK? [65]

Im British and yes had problems with neighbours in past that were foreign

No worries, You're not the first Brit to come here with these kind of problems.
There`s been plenty of threads from the British complaining how the Poles are ruining their county.

I wonder if this has contributed to BREXIT?

The most annoying things is he runs about very heavily, more so than a regular child and sounds like he is intentionally knocking over furniture as he does loud laughter afterwards,

so he could use whole garden then went on about "lazy Brittish", 2 tenants in my building moved out due to HIS noise another drove lorries so away long periods

He sounds like typical ignorant immigrant!

Why don't you call the Police?

You can get arrested in the US for "disturbing the peace".

Hope no one is offended by my comments.

No, I seen this behavior before, they don't believe or follows rules, no respect for anyone or your country at all!

Keep calling the police, there has to be some kind of noise ordinance.

Too bad you don't have immigration enforcement police in the EU.

Most of these idiots are Illegal in the US and fear the police being called on them, so they have to act semi-civilized.
