USA, Canada / Now American men want to marry Polish women for polish papers. [42]

I'm not talking about one goddamn state or region.. I didn't say white never do it. However, look at the statistics of unwed black mothers. That's not exactly rocket science. Whites put more sway on rearing kids, and eschewing violence.

I am just saying, it's a wide spread problem that affects both white and black Americans. In fact, it effects all Americans because it's part of our culture. I mean, look at the divorce rate @ 50% What about all the single parents? Are all of those black? Some are, but many aren't. In fact, there's more single white parents than their are black because our divorce rate is so high and blacks make up only 8-10% of the population in the US. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. I bet even you can if you try hard ;)

History / Whom do the people in Poland hate more: Germans or Russians? [869]

He can express himself, but wishing an ethnic group to be extinct is ******* stupid, and I can't believe you are defending that.

I don't agree with what he says, personally. He is venting, that's all, and lots of people vent and they vent about what they want to vent about. He has the same privilege.

The vast, vast majority of Germans, practically all of them with the exception of some skinhead nutcases, are ashamed of what Germany did to Poland.

There are plenty of people who love Germans and Germany, so why let the expression of one person ruffle your feathers? It's not like he is going to start this trend against Germany by posting once on PF.

All the Germans I have met in my life in Germany have been nothing but good to me, and had no grudges against me. For gods sake, get over it.

I agree, but people always bring this stuff up... and not just against Germany. If people get to criticise other countries and their histories, same can be done to Germany. It is not the sacred golden calf free from scrutiny!

It is just one point of view different from yours, doesn't mean the one expressing it is a fuckwit or any worse than people spouting opposing views.

History is not always a pretty, glorious thing. In fact, it often stinks. This man is just telling it like it is. It might not be what you want to hear, but that's just how true history goes.

Let the man express his view on history. There are plenty of others who have expressed something different and no one censors them.

News / Donald Tusk's Government of Poland Continues to Oppress Poles [161]

It's not Poland's choice. It was negotiated by the SLD back in the 2001-2005 Sejm - and the current government had their hands tied as it was an EU obligation.

Oh,so it's really the EU and not Tusk or the PO, right?

News / Donald Tusk's Government of Poland Continues to Oppress Poles [161]

A government who has maintained one of the lowest deficits in the EU, by being brave enough to resist the temptation to spend when that was all the rage in the EU.

If it's so great, why raise taxes on baby clothes? With such low spending, why does one need to raise taxes?

News / Donald Tusk's Government of Poland Continues to Oppress Poles [161]

In a country where there are excessively high, socialist taxes, and ridiculous labour law which limits the possibility of employment and earning
money, the government which introduces and enforces such socialist laws should give socialist
handouts and help those who can't raise their families on a proper level because of raging
socialism.

That's why I wonder where the money goes? The government taxes and taxes and yet never comes up even. Where the f does the money go? It's ridiculous! With all the taxing they do, they shouldn't have any money problems, period. It's just corruption, plain and simple. They won't address it, instead they just want more tax money from people who cannot afford it. At least have the decency to tax the ones who can, instead!

Life / What gifts to take? Presents customs in Poland. [173]

You can't be serious! Is that going to become the next big holiday that requires buying ****? No no no! We don't need another one. We have enough already. Hope it doesn't come over here.

Food / Eat goulash from a cat and a steak from a dog in Poland! [114]

Do you think Poles would be his costumers? Or just Asians?

Most likely, Asians.
I hope he is honest about what is going into his meals, too. I wouldn't want to go someplace, thinking I am eating pork and have it be a dog or a cat. That's another thing that concerns me about this. Product mislabeling. If he can do it, who knows who else is doing it.

he eats cat and dog's meat.
He heard about the closing of an animal shelter in Celestynowo, and got an idea of openning a restaurant in Poland, which serves our pets' meat.

It's their custome in Vietnam. I would never do it, but if they do it, who am I to judge. If Poland has laws stopping this sort of thing, then this dude cannot go through with his plan. If there are no laws, he should be allowed to open his restaraunt.

History / Was Daniel Fahrenheit a Pole? [138]

"Modern Nietzsche scholarship does not believe in the legend of noble Polish ancestry"

Yes. GW. That's already been established :)

History / Was Daniel Fahrenheit a Pole? [138]

GW, if you ever read Nietzsche, which you probably have not, it is only a natural part of his style to say he is Polish, not German. He constantly makes fun of Germans and Prussians throughout. They are the object of his ridicule. It does not prove he lacks Prussian ethnicity.

I want you to provide just one stating that he was a Pole, PP.

HUH? I am wondering if you can read, GW, no offense...

I've read it's been proven he has no Polish ancestors.

History / Was Daniel Fahrenheit a Pole? [138]

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO German would EVER want to be POLISH!!!

It's obvious you aren't familiar with Nietzsche's style. It's only natural for him to say he's Polish. For proof of his German ancestry, you only have to look to his sister, Elzabeth. She founded an Aryan (German) colony in South America before the Nazis ever came to power. She was a fanatical Prussian.

History / Was Daniel Fahrenheit a Pole? [138]

I have to believe there is a substantial element of truth that Nietzsche is of Polish ancestry and not German ancestry. WHY would he say that?? I mean WHAT German would EVER want be know as having Polish blood instead of German blood???

He was rebelling against the composer Wagner and Prussian arrogance. That is the real reason he was adamant to claim he was Polish. He was taking a jab at Prussia.

I've read it's been proven he has no Polish ancestors.

OK, following your logic, whoever achieved something really big, is not to be claimed by anyone, right?

He belongs to the world.

Food / Origin of the pierogi [127]

Didn't know which thread to put this on, but thought I would mention it. The Superbowl is this weekend and one of the popular "tailgater" foods for one of the teams competing, the Pittsburg Steelers is the Pierogi! Millions will be made and enjoyed all across the US today and tomorrow.

He is from USA.

That's really surprising! Maybe he was hoping Polish women wouldn't be as talkative as Americans?

Love / Do Polish women talk too much? [74]

No,they talk about men.

They don't talk about men to their boyfriends or husbands unless they want to make them jealous or upset, or they are getting even because the boyfriend or husband has talked about other women to them.

They talk about women they are friends with thinking their boyfriend or husband won't be jealous of such talk.

Love / Do Polish women talk too much? [74]

Women will talk about women, knowing the man doesn't care, but will avoid talk of any man unless they want to cause a tide of anxiety for some reason.
