He's probably right. Acquiring a written language that (like Hebrew and Arabic) that has sense units rather than words is bloody hard. With tongue twisters there's a phenomenon (there's a good Polish example) where speakers of a language make a tongue twister that's hard for them however speakers of some other languages don't have a problem.

I'm thinking of "butelka oetykietowana, butelka nie oetykietowana". Very easy for you and me but a tongue twister for Poles.

You'll find that they (and especially MaccyD's) tend in Poland to be a bit cleaner and less full of dog rough people and fùck-awful screaming kids than they are in a lot of places, largely due to the prices and relative disposable income levels.

Don't worry about that. As you say, technological research is important, and solar panels are great. If you've any issues about how they're recycled, I can assure you that there's as many or more problems with the kit used for hydrocarbon extraction and old fashioned fuel generation.

Neither resisting the development of cleaner technologies nor striving for purity in them is a sustainable path. We should however do what we can.

I'm not sure who you mean, however as far as I know, there are no senior policymakers in your country called that. If he holds extreme views that you don't share, like the climate change deniers at one end of the spectrum and Thunberg at the other, rest assured that they have free speech and you still have a democratic vote and can take part in political parties' policies during the autumn conference season.

Remember, rather than use terms like climate doomsday cult, it's better to be pragmatic and acknowledge that Just Stop Oil, the Myrna Thunberg or Greta Minkoff of whatever she's called and the various Green Parties hold a view as extreme as the pathetic climate change deniers (often fundamentalist Christians or Muslims) at the other end of the spectrum.

There's another little known but positive use. Booking flights and sometimes hotels. Sites like Momondo.co.uk (my favourite), Opodo, etc, know if you've been looking at hotels in a given place and on airline websites. They know that the more you look, the more interested you are and that can affect the prices they quote. Flushing out the cookies can stop them doing that.

There's an odd fascination wit( true crime (and of course the media, tv and bookshops are full of it.

I remember as a teen there was a real panic near my village. Something nasty had been found. Remember, this was just after the Yorkshire Ripper, that guy who killed the Laitner family in Sheffield after the wedding reception then went on the run locally and a serial rapist called the Fox who broke into peoples houses and also went on the run.

The panic was unjustified though. There was a lot of dismembered flesh however it was vacuum packed with Sainsbury's labels. Someone's freezer had obviously broken down.

That's seems strange since the was using the victim's bank account and sending birthday cards to his relatives pretending to be him. That would be very difficult to credibly explain away.

CCleaner just does it superficially. All his downloaded images are retrievable by law enforcement agencies.

It can be handy if your computer is an old one and has a very small memory and you've been online a lot but that's about it.


That's because it clears all cookies and anything in the cache. If I post here on a work computer, I clear the history on Firefox just for privacy. If you've not got a problem with memory size, you may as well just do it that way, and some people say that CCleaner can cause damage.

It looks like he didn't hold back. I find it hard enough to bone a joint of meat to stuff it and cook it. It must have been a hassle to do all that.

It's a full trial, so the defendant must have pleaded not guilty.

It says in the article that he was sending birthday cards after the person died and was using bank accounts however we shouldn't second guess a jury since they hear more of the evidence than the public. Having said that, it can't be easy for the defence lawyers in such a trial
