What is sickening is some FOB (Fresh of the Boat) pontificating about Poland when he has no idea.
I'll make some educated guesses here, you had no idea about Polish politics before you moved there, As usual Americans like you have not lived in another country before you moved there. (I have lived and worked in five) You don't know what is going on in other countries regarding the Coronavirus and economics. All the economic problems due to the coronavirus also happened in other countries. A tax free threshold for the first 30k is an basic economic policy that both left and right would support in any other country, apart from those with PiS Derangement Syndrome. Yet you somehow dismiss it because it will not help those recently unemployed, But if united right increased unemployment benefits you would say its helping the unproductive and drunks and will bankrupt the economy. A week ago you claimed it was only available to businesses that were making peanuts. Today you said it's only available to new businesses. Wrong on both counts. Sounds like you can't get your story right. If your business has revenues of more than 1.2 million euro than just state so.

That does not change the fact that united right lowered the tax rate of small/medium business in poland from 19 to 9 percent. Eliminated income tax for young people. Hardly socialism!

Yes it is, according to KPMG as of Jan 2019 a 9 percent rate is available to most taxpayers if their income does not exceed 1.2 Million Euro. Yes it is also available to big business in the first year of their operation but thata two separate things.

Rubbish. tax and spend socialists would raise taxes or go massively into deficit. United Right has introduced social spending whilst REDUCING taxes. 9 percent corporate tax for firms with revenue less than 1 million euro, no income tax for under 25s etc . And no deficit (before pandemic) Hardly socialist but more smart and what poland needed. Next up will be investments in health care.

Funnily enough there are PKP WARS cars attached to two russian trains that stop in Warsaw. The Moscow to Paris via Berlin and the Moscow to Nice via Austria, Switzerland and Italy. Yes and that is another point. No other slavic language does this. In czech it's wieś - vesnice wiesz - Vis. The pronouciation is vaguely similar but not to the point of being so similar that it takes special work to differentiate between the two words for learners. Yes unfortunatly my dad had the brilliant idea not to send us to the polish language school when i was a kid in Nigeria so I had to learn the writing as an adult. From an outsiders perspective and someone who has also learnt Czech, Polish is overly complicated, has duplication and as Czech and Slovak are much newer languages they clean up and improve on Polish and are BETTER> the only difference i can hear in szcze and śce is maybe the length of pronunciation and latter slightly softer?
