Language / Polish Swear Words [1242]

Polska robi używają wielką ilość złych słów. :D

English: Poland does use much bad words.

should be: Polacy używają wielu brzydkich słów. - The Poles use many bad words.

it's funny when someone comes forward with a translation and appears to speak neither of the languages.

Za duzo przeklinac w kurwia mnie

Wkurwia mnie, gdy za dużo się przeklina.

Love / What are the best love poems in Polish to receive? [77]

You guys need a stronger moderator. My relationship ended when I gave this to my girl. Thanks for nothing. You can keep your Polish Forum and shove it where the sun don't shine!!!!!!!

wait a minute, your relationship ended in may and you are still pestering that poor girl?? LOL at that poem about t*ts you sent to her, anyone who was bright enough would check the meaning first, you can't blame the forum and moderators for not being able to speak polish, you are just being an arrogant pr*ck. sorry i have absolutely no sympathy for you.

History / What do Poles think about Turks? [761]

all turkish people know all european and russain girls are ******, they sleep with every men they meet

that's what you like to think but it's all boll*ox. take a look at your filthy face and think to yourself is there really a sober woman out there who would fancy to kiss that stinking gob full of rotten teeth? i don't think so.

we're muslims. our women are not slut like yours...

yeah and you have the smallest di*cks in europe, and your men work as prostitutes to satisfy old grannies and fat drunken trolls on a holiday in turkey. congratulations.

Life / Why there is always around a horrible smell of sweat in Poland [188]

I think it is the tumeric.

to me, they stink of sweat and God knows what else, but they definitely don't shower very often!

spicy food is just too good to give up

i gotta say i hate spicy food... i just can't eat it cos it burns my mouth and makes my eyes and nose water! blahhhhh.

Life / Why there is always around a horrible smell of sweat in Poland [188]

czeste mycie skraca zycie i skora sie wyciera.

i can't tell you how many times i heard that in Poland haha. i gotta say my folks always had a problem with me wanting to have a shower/bath everyday when i still lived at home. and they would be at the door asking what i'm doing if i've taken more than 10 minutes in there haha... i think it's one of those darn silly rules stuck in so many Poles' heads that if you don't work physically you don't need to shower everyday, there are so many Polish people i know who only bathe/shower once a week, or once a month, and to them a person washing themselves everyday is a freak and a pansy! a waster. families out there still tend to take a bath in the same water one person after another, and then use that water to wash clothes or water the garden haha...

and as for some ethnic groups smelling cos of the stuff they eat... i've met people from many different cultures and i gotta say that it's almost a rule that Indians and Turks absolutely REEK. it's like a mixture of sweat, dirt and curry or whatever spices they use every day. it's just men who stink though. i read an article about Indian men a while ago and it said personal hygiene is the last thing on their list of chores. i'm not being racist here or anything, just a personal observation.

i closed my nose

that's a neat trick, do you have a plug/lid to do that?

the smell of sweat and not having a shower for ages, was horrible

see the only time i ever felt like that was when i had to sit next to a Turkish guy in a pub...

Life / The Pole is happy when someone else cries... [75]

i've seen Poles having a giggle at someones misfortune, and i have definitely seen the Brits do just the same so really it's not a rule with us Poles. even if i really dislike somebody and they are going through a tough time i don't find it funny. laughing at someone cos they slipped on dog poop is not horrible is it? lol. everyone gets jealous, the Poles tend to be less emotional/sympathetic but that really depends on the person. some people like to pretend they are tougher than they really are. and some people are little sh*ts who just loathe everyone cos they have more luck in life.

Language / -ski/-ska, -scy/ski, -wicz - Polish surnames help [185]

my mother always says that people whos surnames end with -wicz (stankiewicz, markiewicz etc.) have roots in Ukraine. i dunno, but that's all i've heard about it.

History / What do Poles think about Turks? [761]

internet makes it a lot easier for these men with a little english to try to do all sort of things that they can't do it in their normal life.

that is exactly right, the things they say and do on skype and other programs are not things they would get away with in real life. they behave like sex obsessed idiots, not able to put a sentence together, but still begging for marriage and sex. nobody NORMAL talks that way, but this is how the turkish lot communicates with women over the internet. source: mine and my female friends experience with turkish men on skype and facebook.

Life / Poles are not racist [873]

That person is in Europe.

well then, that just speaks for itself doesnt it. someone who cant even spell the name Józef. tragic.

the behaviour of a load of Polish guys last night, after the match, in a small town in Scotland,

there are many pathetic Polish people like that its too obvious to deny, but saying they all are is silly. calling Germans nazis and other things for no reason is not on, i'm Polish and im ashamed of people who do that. they're probably gonna call me a nazi when they see i posted it haha. oh well, as we say in Poland, cant win with the stupid...

that is supposed to mean that the mistakes he made make me suspect he might be an american pole, not a native polish speaker.

History / What do Poles think about Turks? [761]

Ask any neighbour what he thinks about the Turks.Ask the Greeks,the Serbs,the Bulgarians,the Romanians,the Kurds,the Iraqis,the Saudis,the Syrians,the Armenians,the Georgians.Everyone will tell you the same.

maybe cos there's a good reason for that? it's Turks working for their own reputation.

Bratwurst Boy, are there ANY nationalities (apart from German obviously) that German people like??? Lol. I agree with u on the Turks though, i heard stories about how violent they get and that they stab people in the ass or something (?!)...

Lukasz? Why this interest in Turks so suddenly?

i think he only defends Turks cos he doesnt like Germans ha ha

History / What do Poles think about Turks? [761]

we are brother people. if you ask kurds they will be going to say the same thing

im not great at the history, facts and figures of your topic, but i have spoken to some Turkish people and they refer to Kurds as the 2nd class citizens, shame to Turkey and giving Turks a bad name. I've been told that Kurdish are the nasty sort you come accross on a night out, harassing women and when you go for a holiday to Turkey Kurds are most likely to attack you and make your stay miserable, not mentioning all them pests on skype or facebook saying they are from Turkey - according to Turks ive spoken to, these are all Kurds. Just what i heard from Turkish people, its not my opinion.

Love / Polish men are complete doormats (especially after they get married) [125]

some times its far easier to 'appear' submissive to get what you want ;-)

oh yeah definitely, they aren't being nice without a reason, there's always a reason ;)

please don't paint all of us with such a wide brush. it sure isn't my fault you dated losers.

i didnt date them, but other girls i know did and i felt sorry for them. Polish guys aint my cup of tea tbh, but anyway. why does this offend you so much? you're not even a native Polish man! i lived there long enough to notice what most men are like. there are exceptions, but i'd definitely not call them doormats. if anything, they tend to think too much of themselves.

Love / Polish men are complete doormats (especially after they get married) [125]

it is a bit creepy to do everything together, you need some space. i used to go out loads with my girlfriends but i'm over that now (getting old and stingy haha), he occasionally goes out with his mates or his brothers when he goes to Scotland but when he's got a choice of going out on the p*ss with his buddies or going to the movies or dinner or just staying in with me he chooses the latter. good choice ;)

Love / Polish men are complete doormats (especially after they get married) [125]

Why are the majority of Polish men complete doormats

lol that is so not true. it's quite the opposite of that actually. to most Polish men that I know their beer (more like vodka) buddies and footy match come first no matter what. thats why you hear them saying

"kotku, nie mow tak, prosze cie"

on the phone to their women, because they are probably trying to calm them down and not get dumped cos they prefered to go drinking with their friends. if you ask me, i find English guys to be more submissive than the Polish ones. but then i tend to have that effect on men ha ha.

when a man is out with his other half her handbag becomes too heavy so the husband has to carry it

just being a gentleman, but sadly it's dying out.
