"The Earth's surface is estimated to have formed around 4.54 billion years ago, with the process taking roughly 10 to 20 million years to complete." - this is the scientific answer being taught at all worldwide schools.
"It's impossible to know the exact number of fossils on Earth, but estimates range from millions to trillions. While millions are documented and studied, the vast majority remain undiscovered or are in areas inaccessible for excavation" - this is also according to the science.
However, both statements cannot be true. If it took millions of years to complete the genealogical process, there would be absolutely no fossils because they would be turned into dust after this slow process (possibly much sooner, like thousands of years). For fossils to exist, a rapid event, like flood, had to occur.
