Travel / Poles the worst-dressed tourists in the world? [25]

It is only a poll, but an amusing one.

Where from do they get the idea the British are among the best-dressed in the world? No offence, but the British I see in Warsaw...

And why the Poles are the worst-dressed tourists? That decoration goes to the Dutch for me.

Life / Typical Polish house and family [46]

That's is a long long way from a typical Polish household.

Quite so. No average Polish household has a gun at home. Make your wish come true?

Life / Typical Polish house and family [46]

The typical Polish house has windows, doors, kitchen and bathroom. The typical family members each have two arms and two legs.
What kind of idiotic question is this?

Food / Hopless beer in Poland? [30]

Surprisingly Carrefour (at least the one here in Arkadia in Warsaw) has a surprisingly extensive range of "small brewers"...and a large selection of specialty Belgian beers as well :)

Food / Hopless beer in Poland? [30]

But there are some good local breweries that still produce natural beers.

Browar Konstancin is doing a good job.

Speaking of local breweries...does Spisz on the Rynek in Wrocław still exist, they used to have really good stuff years ago.

Taking care of a household is not so bad. I've been doing it even during my married days

And we are both pursuing careers, my wife even more as I, and doing the household and raising kids we do together, and that works out fine.

Today, my dog helps me.

Why am I not surprised by this?

Life / New Royal Baby Boy - Recommended Polish Baby Names [21]

Poland's great senior statesman Kaczyński as well as its future PM Gowin. Of course, one could also go with Sobieski. Sobieski Windsor

As far as I know, Sobieski is not a first name, even you should know that.
Secondly you do not understand irony. Jarosław was intended as sarcasm. We should not shock the British people.

Interesting to see you already know btw who will be the new Polish prime minister before elections are held.

where normally the critical and indispensable amygdala would be in a healthy human.

I thought you were talking philosophy in this thread, and not "science" ?

A single case or notable exception can always be found to prove anything

Even if it would be only one, it still negates all your primitive ideas about women.

How many were there? What percentage? Any links or is this just another sweeping generality?

She has more *** than you ever will have.
And that Belgian F-16 pilot of which you told she was cleaning latrines / peeling potatoes...her IQ and guts I would like to compare to yours...

And any afterthoughts on the female AK soldiers during the Warsaw Uprising ?

Women in the military is another sign of the inanity that pervades this civilization and is one more step towards total doom.

Of course the countless female AK soldiers, the female SOE agents in France etc...would be very glad to read your warped views.

I oppose lowering standards for women as has already been done in the U.S. military.

No proper air force would let somebody fly an F-16 without proper qualifications.

. Women cannot perform any type of military mission which would customarily be assigned by a man. Not even the most mundane. Not if you value the efficiency of your army.

The women who fly attack helicopters in Afghanistan (and did so in Iraq) would simply laugh in your face.

I would like to see you go in discussion with that Belgian female F-16 pilot. She defies your idea of the role of women in society completely :)

As for now you did not whine she is taking jobs from men? How strange.

Anyway, F-16 pilots do not get their wings and grades because of their looks...of that I am sure :)
Their "toys" are a bit too expensive for that :)
And nor are they allowed to drop bombs on Khadafi or Osama because they just look cute :)

Is it just me, or is there something rather sexy about female pilots?

The Belgian F-16 pilot in the picture also wasn't exactly ugly :)

Since they have no true understanding of things, everything for them has an emotional value and nothing more.

They would kick your *** anytime.

This of course undermines your fascist view of women.

Some nice quotes from your buddy Weininger can be found here: (Weininger and the Nazis) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otto_Weininger

Some other women who gladly would break your ***

voodoo-world.cz/falcon/girls.html

They have probably more guts than you will ever meet in your entire life.

Another one who defies your fascist view of the world.

Lieutenant Catherine Tomiak is the first Polish woman who sat at the controls of a combat aircraft MIG -29 . Colleagues from 22nd Tactical Air Base in Malbork provide its full professionalism and determination. - At the beginning I was not treated seriously, but I grew up on a hard and crone - says Katarzyna .

I am now waiting for Zimmy to start moaning they take work away from male pilots.

News / Warszawa - A PRL car legend to return? [4]

It seems the Warszawa will be produced again. But will there be a market for it?

'Warszawa' car is back!

Polish automotive slowly recovering. For now very timidly, primarily on the drawing boards and garages enthusiasts. However, you can boldly say that the spirit of the nation should not perish.

Flagship initiative of the project is to combine innovativeness of vehicle from the XXI century with retrodesign typical for the iconic car.

The works are already at an advanced stage strongly. As announced the initiator of the project the prototype should appear in several months.

Its design will be based on the BMW M5, handed by a Belgian investor team. The bodyshell and interior have been designed from scratch. Compared to BMW M5 The wheelbase is greater by 8 cm. Under the hood will be a 5-liter V10 engine with 600 horsepower coming from the Bavarian model.

All this ranting and then we see what you really think about women.

You mimic false debate points straight out of fem-speak 101.

Actually all our friends (and my colleagues at work) do not reflect your woman-hating view of the world. In all cases both of them work, their wives/partners pursue their own career, they have their own social life and own friends...but they do the household jobs together, raise their kids together. In quite a few cases the wife earns definitely more as her partner, often has much longer working hours. But whoever is home first, starts to do the household jobs which go with every family.

But that's life. Both partners have equal rights to pursue a career as far as I am concerned.
