Life / Why so many Poles use a second hands clothes? [110]

poles also steal clothes from charity shops in england and then sell it in poland

that's an interesting fact, would you care to elaborate or are you just having one of those 'i hate everything Polish' days again. why are you even on this forum, are you in love with WB?

people like TIT buy a bottle of Evian, drink it and then fill the bottle with tap water just to prove to others how rich and sophisticated they are.

ha ha yeah, that's the way to go

Life / Why so many Poles use a second hands clothes? [110]

most of them didn't actually pay for

oh yeah now you say that i heard that celebrities get freebies as this is the way of promoting the stores clothing lines. all you gotta do is be famous, walk in to a shop and say that you'll have this this and this. those sub celebrities always demand free stuff when they go out shopping and get all wound up people don't recognise them in there, it's quite sad... not only they are rich, but they're a bunch of stingey freeloaders.

paying more money for the same thing is brain dead consumerism.

i wonder if tit is one of those people who wear the labels inside out so people can see how much they cost

Polish people should feel ashamed cos these shops are more common than any other business. They have no pride of themselves, slave mentality.

you truly are a tit aren't you. why waste money on new clothes, not everyone can afford that. you can get a lot of quirky garments at cheap prices in those stores, not the usual stuff you get in the shops that tends to be the same everywhere each season, so it's not just for poor people. if this is too complicated for you to grasp and you're just gonna stick to your 'second hand clothes are for poor slaves' line then please do us all a favour and give yourself a wedgie with those $1000 dolce&gabbana underpants, you snob.

so you level yourself down only to pretend you look like a prince, drive BMW with 300000km on the clock to pretend you are rich or middle class person?

the whole point here is that you don't have to spend hundreds and hundreds on new stuff to look good, look at all those celebrities who only buy designer stuff and they look like tramps. if you buy stuff for labels and designers, or just because it's *new* then i feel sorry for you that this is the only way you can think of to validate your self worth and feel better than the rest. you can afford to buy new stuff good for you, but have some respect for those less fortunate. it's not just the poor people who buy second hand clothes, it's a good bargain for anyone who only needs an outfit they are probably gonna wear on one ocassion, or work gear that will soon enough get dirty, or just stuff to wear around the house. techincally once a piece of clothing have been worn once it classifies as 'used'. how many people tried on the stuff you bought in the shop before you?? think about it, and stop speaking out of your arse.

UK, Ireland / The best way for a Polish person to learn English? [34]

The best way for a Polish person to learn English?

immerse in the language. if you can't afford/haven't got time for English classes just speak English as much as you can, write in English, THINK in English. your gf has the advantage of having you, so take time out of each day you spend together and talk. correct her and get her to note things down if she can't memorise them. just make it fun, you're not her teacher lol. read books and magazines in English together, watch tv, anything that involves contact with the language. learning songs in English is a great way too, singing along and looking up the lyrics is fun and effective. as long as you don't make it a boring chore i'm sure she'll start naturally picking up more and more things each day.

Love / Age difference, my Polish girl is 23 and I am 39 [42]

guys are messing around as per usual ;). i find it a bit suspicious that she was so cautious about the physical contact and now she's gonna let you sleep in her bed. shouldn't you date for a while, have a proper kiss or something? ha ha it's like jumping from one extreme to the other, from nearly no touching to going all the way. have a proper chat first (if you can, looking at your slight communication problem) and decide what you both want. tell her she doesn't have to sleep with you just to make you wanna be with her and that it can wait, maybe she feels pressured. either way, good luck!

the most disturbing thing, probably even more disturbing than you thinking about me when you're on holidays, is that i love camembert. not the 'turek' variety though.

Love / Polish women are the most beautiful in the world! [1718]

Men should always have longer hair. Bald looks bad on men

not really, i know a few guys who look very attractive with a shaved head or really short hair. it doesn't suit everyone of course.

first impressions are obviously very important but so what if someone has great clothes and an awesome haircut if once they open their mouth and start talking you wanna turn around and leave? i find that i am attracted more to someone if they are interesting and can hold down a conversation - even if they're not all that and a bag of chips, rather than someone drop dead gorgeous who only talks about themselves and their grooming routine ha ha...

Trochę się najebałam z dziewczynami. Jak mi kiedyś odpierdolisz to wpierdol!

Jak mi kiedyś odpierdolisz to wpierdol! means?

odpierdolić in this context doesn't really make much sense, at least not to me. odpierdolić coś is to do something badly, not make an effort etc., odpierdolić się means to either feck off/get lost or make yourself look good, dress up. but odpierdolić komuś? hmmm.

so it could mean something along the lines of: If you ever leave i will kick your ass or If you ever mess up something for me i will kick your ass. either way, it is a clear warning, nice lol.

Also people saying Poles are blonde pale etc, i've said this numerous times from all of the Poles I know the general haircolour is brown with the few occasions of black (very dark) and blonde (very light).

i was a curly blonde and blue eyed cutie when i was little but my hair got darker as i got older, my eyes are also more green than they are blue. my sisters have more sharp features, their skin and hair are also darker. there's a big variety among Poles but yeah we can recognise each other in the crowd, i know when i see a Polish person before i hear them speak. it's hard to explain, probably a mixture of facial features, clothes and hair.
