They don`t care about the fact that the referendum with such stupid questions is going to discredit Poland even further in the eyes of the world and enhance the stereotypical notions of barbaric backward Eastern Europe.

Poland needs to be in the EU coz it binds us with the West. If Russia doesn`t fall apart in result of the lost war and sanctions, we will be constantly threatened in the east. If Americans choose such an azhole for President as Trump or another, then NATO might stop functioning. What is Poland left with then?? With its own bare ass coz if we aren`t in the EU, Western Europe won`t lift a finger to help us in need. Why? Thanks to PIS which has turned this country into Eastern European shythole according to old stereotypes. The French or Brits won`t die for Gdańsk or Warsaw coz in their minds Eastern Europe won`t be worth it. Only Germans will try to give a hand as our closest neighbours but they don`t possess nukes so it won`t matter.
The cultural changes in Western Europe which you are so afraid of will be adopted by Poles sooner or later, so resisting them is useless. We can already see how Poles are changing their attitude - this process is unstoppable.
