An agreement is a contract. There is no such thing as a "formal agreement". As opposed to what? Informal agreements? On paper or verbal is irrelevant as both are valid.

In this case, the agreement was that NATO would stay where it was at the time this subject was discussed and agreed upon. Nobody sane would agree to exempt East Germany and OK NATO jumping over and landing in Poland and the rest of Eastern Europe. Duh. Only PF Russia haters can be that stupid.

The fact is that the West lies all the time - including Minsk as a delaying move and without any intent to stick to it.

And that is why Ukraine is a pile of uninhabitable garbage that will never be rebuilt unless Russia takes over the whole damn place as it did in Mariupol. In that context, you dumb Poles should wish Russia a quick victory.

Poland is stil on the map because Poles refused to integrate.

To integrate means to acquire the identity of the host. Speaking the local language and knowing where public restrooms are is not integration. Integration is when you feel exactly the way the locals feel when their national anthem is being played and your emotional reaction to it is the same. The same for the flag.

Nothing to do with Russia's plan. More will come because...

1. Ukraine is like Turkey - in ruins. Did you ever live with the windows missing?
2. Whatever Zholes will restore - over time and at great expense - Russia can and will destroy in seconds.
3. Standard of living is higher in Poland than in Ukraine hence no reason to go back. Would you?
4. The more of them, the more they will feel at home and will feel less need to do back to Ukraine for sentimental reasons since they bring Ukraine with them.

5. The more of them, the lower the desire to learn Polish. There are cities in the US where you don't need to speak English anymore.

6. Polish government will treat them as a protected minority and make Poles second-class citizens. It is already done when medical resources are allocated.

So the question is: how many Ukrainians are too many? Is there a limit? If so, why would there be a limit if they are such an asset?
