Whole world is observing the elections in Poland waiting for results.
Poland Is Voting In a 'Pivotal' Election:
After a brutal campaign, the polarized nation headed to the polls on Sunday in a parliamentary election that will reverberate well beyond its borders.
I visited another polling station coz I drove my elderly relative to one. We ran into a queue again. I saw a lot of young people. Practically, half of the queue was between 20 and 40 years old. Amasing!

It is the first time in the history of my voting that I have had to wait in the queue for over 30 minutes. The queue was so long it reached the lobby in the school where the ballot station is located. Simply amasing!
We are going to have a record turnout.

Yes, there was some drinking, too but people kept it at moderate level and nobody made a fool of themselves. It was more like relishing good alcohol, in fact.

Yes, the music of our youth. :):):) Boney M and ABBA ruled. We also liked Goombay Dance Band who were dark skinned, too. I still remember how I stole my elder sister`s comfortable soft mocassin shoes and went to a disco in our primary school.

Two reasons - Boney M was an acclaimed group in late 1970s, at the peak of their fame. Secondly, they were dark skinned. Commies officially treated people of colour with respect. That is why the group wasn`t punished for singing Rasputin - their music was freely played in all discos in Poland for a few more years.

The festival witnessed the rise or fall of some performers. It also was a place of various scandals, related to social conventions, sex or political ones.
Check this Boney M band performance singing Daddly Cool in 1979. The vocalist starts a semi-strip tease act in the middle of the song, going topless. The audience were thrilled. hahahaha buhahahaha
