Off-Topic / Stock Market Talk and Trading - part 2 [164]

Gas prices down. Interest rates down. I smell a rat because I don't believe in coincidences.

Nothing new, that always happens just before an election.
The stock market seems to always do well too.
I think there is 46 or 47 days (give or take) until the election.
I can't wait for it to be over.
The country will immediately start falling apart quickly after the election.
No doubt in my mind that she WILL get us into WW3.

Can we keep my thread civil please.

I will give it my best shot however rudeness breeds rudeness.
By the way, why didn't you suggest that when it was my thread ? 😏

Thats a lot of words for someone who doesnt care.

I don't care what you say either. Hoot !
Live to 80 and you get back PLN 751,036 for the PLN 31,325 you paid in. That's the kind of return even Jimmy Poorhouse wouldn't boast about.

Of course not stupid, but then again you could wait until you die, and it would be worth even more.
Imagine how jealous Jimmy Poorhouse must be of that return,

Are you stuck on stupid or what.
My returns compound too. Duh !

I dont know what those are.

Our new Finacial Advisor will be happy to explain them to you even though he has no money invested in them himself due to lack of funds.
Ask him anything about investing except how much he has invested and you will get an answer even if it is the wrong one.
Now go back through this thread and see how many stocks that I have tipped that have made substantial returns. (Almost all of them)
And that is what has Dead Man Walking so jealous and why he is unable to tip a stock. Simple

Off-Topic / Stock Market Talk and Trading - part 2 [164]

People with money dont tend to boast about it therefor...

When have I ever boasted about my wealth ? Never
Now I do taunt Hairy Lazarus with obvious sarcasm of owning a huge cattle ranch in Texas and owning a leer jet.
Gives him something to squawk about to diminishing me which is most comical.
He even has to use a fictional character (Jim Werden) to pretend that is me.
You do know that he is not all there don't you. 🤪

What could be better entertainment then to wind up a one string banjo ?
Since you Brits are lame on the stock market and how it works you really should not comment on it as authorities.
But then again Dead Man Walking is an authority on everything and anything in order to diminish others. 🤣
And like PolAm said, "I don't care what you think."
And like the Reb says, "I don't need to defend myself to anyone here."
Like it or lump it.

If not, you really should be!

Now Lazarus has become a Fianacial Planner too. Hoot !
Ask him what he is invested in besides his nine franc that he carries in his wallet to showboat with. 🤭
Poor Harry, what a Loser.

I am leaning toward the energy sector for the near future.
Its looking strong at this point in time.
Maybe the Mistic Dead Man Walking would like to tip us on a stock or ETF for once here. 🧐

Are you a Brit too by any chance ? Yes or NO
I dont own any stocks

That is obvious, neither does Lazarus, so why do you post in this thread that you know nothing about besides to just diminishing me out of pure jealousy.
Gambling has never done it for me its just for fools.

I agree however "investing" is how wealthy people get wealthy and stay wealthy.
It takes money to make money which neither you or Lazarus seem to have.
I dont believe you have any money invested anywhere.

Like PolAm says, "I don't give a flying F what you believe or don't believe." HooT !
Suck on that Barns.
Have you ever seen the tiny little dumpy flat that Lazarus lives in ? Oh ja ja !
My dogs houses are bigger than that dump. lol

Off-Topic / Stock Market and Trading Talk [1011]

You did cherry pick a figure that suited your fantasy.

Your ass sucks well water too, Barns.
I did no such thing liar.
I simply showed you how Mistic Lazarus picks one bad day to use to diminish me.
Please read again and educate yourself.
How does Mystic Jimmy do it?! VUG today is 358. It was doing well, then Poor Jimmy boasted about having a fantasy fortune in it and down it went! Losing Poor Jimmy a fantasy $1,900

And of course today VOO is 500. Everything was going well but then Poor Jimmy gave it the kiss of death. And a fantasy loss for The Mystic One of $1,300.

So see Barns, I was showing you how Dead Man Walking uses one day returns to diminish me just like you are so desperately trying to do.
Then one week later:
One week later VOO closed today at $517.60 and VUG at $374.
Now if mistic Lazarus would have bought 100 shares each he would have made $1760 on VOO and $1627 on VUG.

Confirming how the market goes up and down and how I beat the S&P for the last weeks average. (Belch !)
Are you jealous like Lazarus is too ?
Now for F sakes, if you have nothing to contribute to this thread, please quit trashing and trolling it.

See, Dead Man Walking cherry picks the day the S&P is up and my ETF's are down to diminish me.

Thats exactly what you have done,

Actually I have done no such thing, Barns.
In fact I don't recall ever mentioning the S&P 500 until yesterday when I explained how Dead Man Walking thinks that when you buy a stock or ETF that it automatically goes up that day/week and never has a losing day.
A one day average is no way to compare, I took a five day average and showed you how my ETF's beat the S&P500 for those last five days.
Poor Harry just doesn't get it because he is stuck on stupid.
He isn't even smart enough to tip us a stock or an ETF.

Meanwhile Lazarus posted this one week ago

One week later VOO closed today at $517.60 and VUG at $374.

Both VOO & VUG beat the S&P 500 in the last five-day average.

See, Dead Man Walking cherry picks the day the S&P is up and my ETF's are down to diminish me.
On the last five-day average I have beat "the tracker thing" I mean the S&P 500.

Poor jealous and inferior Lazarus tells three lies in one paragraph just to trash the flow of my thread.

Meanwhile Lazarus posted this one week ago diminishing me when VOO was at $500 and VUG was at $358.

polishforums.com/off-topic/stock-market-talk-85560/32/#msg1991561

One week later VOO closed today at $517.60 and VUG at $374.
Now if mistic Lazarus would have bought 100 shares each he would have made $1760 on VOO and $1627 on VUG.
He would have made $3387 U.S.D. in the last week but again he sat on the sidelines diminishing my stock tips instead..
I think he is stuck on stupid. 🥴

Im in for the long haul, not DT gambling.

This is good because like Vegas, if you are not a professional gambler your odds are very low.
I don't follow the herd when it comes to trading stocks as you can see.
I am very diversified with ETF's and gold for the long haul and individual stock trading as a hobby that I seem to make twice or more than what the banks would pay me on a C.D.
And that is because I spend a lot of time reading and researching.
I have never bought and sold a stock in the same day so technically I am more of a monthly trader.
On the norm I keep them if they stay in the green but once they drop below a certain percentage, I sell them as I never stay married to a stock.
I have some high dividend stocks that only go up and down a few dollars per year, yet I am making 8% or better on dividends.
Gold spot price closed at $2593 per ounce last Friday. 😉
Good luck to all of you in your investments.

@ cms,
Here are seven stocks you could look at.

PATK Patrick Industries 94
GVA Granite Construction 95
CVCO Cavco Industries 90
WPM Wheaton Precious Metals 90
TRAK Repositrak 91
QTWO Q2 Holdings 97
ASTH Astrana Health 95

You likely haven't heard of them, but they are all solid companies, good cash flow, being acquired by Mutual Funds and highly rated industries.
One of the key metrics that I always look at is Relative Strength.
That is a rating that runs from 1 to 99.
The higher the better.
It compares how that particular company compares (in price action) to all of the other 8,000 or so publicly traded companies.
That is the number I've shown above next to the name.
With Q2 Holdings for example, only 2% of all the listed companies have a better price action than QTWO over the past three months.
It's not the only metric I look at but does tend to be highly predictive of future price action.
Hope that helped in explaining of what I look at when investing in individual stocks.
Presently I am researching Healthcare Providers and Electrical Providers for long term investments.

News / How will Poland be affected by WW3 which has now started [559]

Who would have ever thought the Bully would start WW3 by invading Ukraine.
Remember that three-mile-long Russian military convoy with outdated equipment that he first sent into Ukraine when he invaded claiming Ukraine would surrender within a couple of weeks ?
That threat sure backfired on him as Ukraine now has the capability of striking deep into Russian territory.
That has not officially been announced yet hoping Russia will surrender first.
(I can't wait until Ukraine totally collapses that damn bridge)
Once this gets coordinated and Russian citizens start dying, just maybe his own Russian people will wise up and remove him from his failed efforts.
Unfortunately, he has bullied his own people into thinking that he is invincible.
Thats what Bin Laden thought too.

yesterday the share price rocketed by 6.4% in a single day!

How many shares of it do you own ?
None you say, so it doesn't matter if it went up 50%, you still are left sitting on the side line playing your one string banjo.....boing, boing, boing, boing.
He still calls ETF's EFT's. LOL !

After Jimmy Poorhouse rated it as "pass", Diageo ended the day up 3.6%!

Really ?
VUG ended up 4.36% this week.
And our new stock advisor Dead Man Walking forgot to mention that DEO was down $1.31 per share today while VOO was up $2.72 per share and VUG was up $1.30 per share.
Thats another $272 for VOO and another $130 for VUG.
Add that to the previous two days............................
And forgets to mention Voo was up $5.27 a share yesterday and closed up $4.34 today for a gain of $9.61 in two days ($9.61 X 100 = $961)
VUG was up $7.39 a share yesterday and closed up $3.64 today for a gain of $11.03 in two days. ($11.03 X100 = $1103)

So if my math is correct VOO made me $1233 and VUG made me $1233 also in the last three days for a total of $2466.
Guess our new mistic stock advisor lazarus eats crow again.
I wonder if has learned yet that the stock market goes up and down. Hoot !

Does anyone think that Dead Man Walking will ever grow a pair to tip a stock ? 😏

Here are 5 for you JR

Orlen - ranked 132
Mercedes - ranked 150 out of 197
DEO - ranked 187
HOG - ranked 177
Duke Energy - ranked 46 (which isn't too bad)

But remember when you are at the bottom there is only one way to go and that is up.
In my personal opinion, there are better picks out there for you.
I am shifting to energy and healthcare stocks and getting away from the weighted tech ETF's.
Take a look at THC and SLOV that have been kind to me recently.

Another one was the British stock BTI which I tipped that lazy missed out on.
polishforums.com/off-topic/stock-market-talk-85560/31/#msg1990584

As we can see I tipped it on September 5th when I bought 200 shares for $34.50.
And one week later, today, September 13th, it is sitting at $39.25 up $4.75 a share.
200 shares X $4.75 = a cool $950 that lazy missed out on again.
Will the fool ever stop diminishing my tips instead of investing in them and making himself some jingle ?

Another one that he is eating crow on is his diminishments on NTRA when it was at $115.2 on August 13th.

polishforums.com/off-topic/stock-market-talk-85560/28/#msg1986542

Today September 13th it is sitting at $128.13 up $12.93 per share.
Gee lazarus, if you would have bought 100 shares instead of running your lying pie hole you would have made $1293 on it. 😮
Poor lazarus who sits on the side lines drinking his 2 for 1 beers at a dive Pub with free wi-fi.
(If nothing changes, nothing changes)

So what stock are you going to tip us with today, Lazarus ?

Love / 20% of adult Poles are single and live with Mummy! [241]

"20% of adult Poles are single and live with Mummy"

No, No, No.
According to Eurostat data 49% of Poles aged 25-34 live with their parents in 2021.
Don't Polish people know how to cut the umbilical cord ?
When I turned 18 my Dad handed me $50 when I went out the front door the day after my birthday and said, "Good luck son."
Even though Polish girls never leave their mothers apron strings even after they get married.
It's always "Mummy' first, then her kids, then her husband.

for another horrible year....

Well you have to admit that Europe's economy amongst a host of several other things is not looking real rosey right now.
People are not happy campers.
I just pray that Europe doesn't drag the U.S.A. into a World War.
