It is, i have at least 7 or 8 friends who are partially German, some look very German, the Teutonic type ;) . But the east has been a place for German settlements for centuries.

I saw many Brits with long big noses, Germans too, i think thats a European thing, Asians describe Europeans as tall men with long noses and long heads. Many Eastern Europeans have small noses with the tip upwards, like an Oriental person, that might be from admixture with Mongols or Tatats or some other people who invaded Europe over the centuries, the high cheekbones flat faces, square heads are a further proof.

I love it how they're building everywhere in Poland the country sure is changing, Warsaw is becoming a nice looking city. Motorways, stadiums, skyscrapers, alot is changing. I remember when i still lived in Poland just after communism fell, old, gray, ugly buildings, very bad roads, pollution. Even the city i lived in Stalowa Wola which is a boom town (huge sleet mill), it was to Poland what Pittsburgh is to Pennsylvania, has changed alot about half the city looks different.
