My history of Poland is fine until 1966. I lived there right in Radom and Warsaw. We had electricity, radio, and the newspapers. For the more curious, Radio Free Europe on the short waves in spite of the jamming transmitters.
What I object to is any insinuation that the German and the Soviet presence in Poland were equivalent. Not even million to one. The fact is I never saw Soviet anything in my entire life in Poland.
How many Poles were killed by the Germans and how many by the Soviets? And I don't mean their Polish collaborators, so don't go there.
I am afraid your knowledge of Polish history is quite lousy.
