Law / Gun control in Poland: should Polish people be allowed to own guns? [1070]

@Lenka
Why not hold a referendum and then have an overwhelming victory on the subject? Instead of letting politicians decide, let the people decide. That is democracy isnt it? Just like the abortion issue. Whats the problem with this?

Law / Gun control in Poland: should Polish people be allowed to own guns? [1070]

@jon357
Call me paranoid and weak? I promise you would never say that to my face.

As for Deer, the average Polish Roe Deer is half that of the average White Tail. Poland has about a half million of these in the whole country. There are two million deer in Michigan alone. I use Michigan because thats JR's vantage point. The deinsity of deer population makes hunting not only important, but a necessity.

@Novichok
You cant talk common sense to a man who thinks other men are for fvcking. They already prove they suffer from mental disease.

@Tacitus
In the US, there is a very old and deep rooted hunting tradition and culture. Also in the US are heards of very big White Tail Deer, that absolutely have to be managed by hunters due to so many car/deer fatal accidents. In Michigan in particular, insurance rates are extremely high because of such a high rate of these accidents. And the deer in the US are so much larger than the deer in Poland that you would be surprised. I have taken one from the woods, dressed out at over 90 kilos.

As for the gun laws in Europe, they are what they are. They will likely change though if the war, or threat of war becomes greater in the EU. The EU and Poland still nowhere near enough soldiers trained to defend against Russia if Russia comes in 6 to 8 years. And if they do come, you will wish you had something to fight back with and defend your home and family. Its easy for people not living in a country directly bordering Russia to say whatever TF they want when they wont directly face anything if it happens. It would be like me heading back to the States and saying Europe doesnt need guns. Easy to say from far away.

Real Estate / Move from Canada and buy an apartment in Krakow? [22]

@RedTerminator13
We just purchased a new build from a developer last july. 20 minute tram risde to the center. 800K zloty before building out the interior for 70 sq meters. That same property 10 months later over 900K. Costs in Krakow going up faster than everywhere but Katowice. Wont find anything good in the center for less than a million.

I am talking about modern day feminism. You win, it started in where ever you say. Modern day feminism is not about what it was when it started. The nuts in the US have made it much more. Modern day feminists and all their catch phrases, and key words, are more toxic than pcb's. Tate does not do the porno sites any more I believe. He is making millions with his online courses. There are obviously big divides here on PF when it comes to neoliberalism, feminism, and leftist activism. In the end, one side or the other will prevail because the leftist and rightist can never find common ground. I am betting on the right, and believe all the leftist craziness is exactly what is bringing society down. Traditional roles, and values are not a bad thing. They are not perfect, but they sure arent as crazy as what some would propose to be normalized.

Innocent until proven guilty. And if he is guilty he can serve his sentence. Thats life. Yet, I wouldnt place a bet on conviction or acquital in this case. Too many contradictions, and as far as the UK goes, they have to get their hands on him first.

Any woman dumb enough to work on these online shops is simply dumb. Look at how many women pimp themselves out on Only Fans, and on Instagram. Please stop blaming men for womens bad choices. Thats like blaming the grocery store for selling cigaretts to the smoking adict, or blaming the gorcery store for selling alcohol to the alcoholic. People make choices. Some good some bad. Thats life.

Tate takes advantage of the internet. He makes a lot of money from it. Maybe we should just blame the people who built the internet for everything. Has he done immoral things? Absolutely, in my eyes, but maybe not other peoples. I am not one to judge, I dont live his life. Everyone else judging though is rather comical.

@Atch
Modern feminism comes from the US. I am not talking about voting rights. I am talking about all the other loosely framed talking points. Toxic masculinity, gender pay gap, allowing transgender to participate in womens sports and a whole host of other items. Women in this leftist group are destroying a lot of what they fought for.

What Peterson is going through in Canada. Having his license stripped from him for expressing his views, and not agreeing to participate in "reprogramming" yes that is the official government term, other countries are offering to give him a license when Canada takes his away.

I apologize for having some Tate information incorrect. That said, the Romanian "victims" have recanted their stories. It doesnt take a year to bring people to trial when they are in the country and living at home unless you dont have a case.

@Feniks
LOL I dont admire him for anything other than having the balls to say what he thinks when most men dont. I dont buy into everything he says. I do agree with how a woman should be honored, spoiled, and given everything she wants in return for supporting men. So people laugh at him, criticize him, and mock him. Yet, many women in the world, saying it publicly, want those things. You dont have to agree. Everyone is entitled to think what they want. In a world where men are being made to be weak, someone needs to remind young men that weak men create weak and dangerous times.

If my wife wants to work she can do that. I dont control her. I can always hire a maid to take care of the house. She likes not working and being able to travel when ever we want to where ever we want. To buy things that make her happy. This is the give and take. Its not for everyone I agree completely. But that doesnt make it wrong.

Of course hear comes the judgement. Funny how the Tate brothers have had charges dropped isnt it? Strange how all their property was returned to them. Even more strange is that the accusers recanted their stories. But please talk about how Tate tells young men to hold women up high, honor them, repsect them and take care of them. Thats his message if anyone pays attention. His message that is changing young men from objectifying women to respecting them must be terrible.

Peterson a grifter? Interesting, he was pretty well known before social media. But he is critical of the left and the LGBTQ agenda, so of course he is in it for the money. Thats why governments around the world have offered to give him a license to practice when Canada want to reprogram him. Again, the left wants everyones opinion to be heard and to count, until it disagrees with their opinion.

The father always finds some time off. If he works an 8 to 4 job, he only gets a few hours a day, the mothers role is more important in early life. You dont like Tate because why? The US is not the center of the world, but the feminist movement is centered and began in the US. The far left movement is centered in the US. Those are just facts. It has now spread to Europe. Funny how many Europeans hate the US and Americans, or dislike them, yet follow the lead from them.

@Lenka
And there is the difference in thinking. What you call sensible, is not always what women want, and it is becoming less and less of what young men want. What is wrong with young men wanting more traditional roles in the family, or a more traditional woman? I have been all over the world and Europe, women in general are much more family oriented here than North America. Is it sensible to have a child, and go back to work after three months to make 10K zloty in a management position when a nanny or good child care is going to take half that money? I dont think so, especially not when it comes to the childs development and bonding with its mother. It makes more sense for the father to take on a second job.

Poland has great maternity policy, but in the US and Canada no such policy exists. Children are not raised by their mothers, they go off to daycare centers, so mom can go back to work. I find it strange that a mother would rather work than raise her child or stay home with them for more than a few weeks. Polands women are very well educated, but not all of them want careers, many would love to be able to be stay at home mothers. With 800+ and the maternity policy here, women really dont have to choose between family and work. In North America its a very different place.

Sorry, but it is funny to read this thread. It shows just how far apart masculine men are from feminist women. I dont think anyone has said women "cant" be independent, solve problems, or be CEO's. More women have chosen these things over having a family. Thats fine, their choice. The issue does not come up when women are young in their 20's and early 30's. The issues of traditional relationships and values come up as women usually begin to realize what they sacrificed in order to "get ahead" and many find out that having children or a family is out of reach for them now.

Looking at social media and all these women showing themselves off, and trying to make money doing degrading things like Only Fans says a lot about where our western culture is today. Valuing things and money over people and family. Women with high body counts, are shocked when men dont want them, and why are they shocked? The feminist movement for better access to education, better pay and things like this are great. But there is a cost, and that cost is often not realized until many decisions have been made early in life. Regret, and watching others face it, is a very hard pill to swallow.

Chase your dreams, do what you want. But dont expect to get the man you want to wait while you chase all of those. The values of young men are changing pretty quickly. I would with a lot of young men under 30 who follow Tate and Peterson religiously. These young men come from affluent families, and many of them fall into the categories posseing the qualities that young women express they are looking for. These same young men think that todays young women have lost their minds. And then American and Canadian women in particular are angry when these men go to Europe or Asia searching for more traditional women. The narrative of the left, is very influential in driving men and women in different directions.

Men care about womens goals when they align with what men also want. If not, then go hang with all the other career chasers. As for myself, I have multiple children, again being vague because one POS here is stalking me. All are happy and healthy. I support people living their own lives. What I dont support is the narrative that traditional lives and values are bad. I dont support the feminist who cry about pay gaps and other bullshit that has been proven to not be correct. I do not support the leftist radical agenda of 120 different pronons or their mental disease that has proven quite infectious to young people. I would support you and your personal choices so long as you are not trying to create a movement to destroy traditional roles and values.

When a thug comes to rob you on the street, do you want a man to protect you or some pussified biatch that runs. You cant get both.

All the women here say men are wrong yet they continually post about the men leaving, or men who beat them, which is the smallest of minority of men.

Men care about women and their goals. If their goals dont align with more traditional roles and values, todays men are walking away from feminist women. No real man can spend a life with a feminist, and no real woman can spend a life with a man who believes in feminism because sooner or later they find out he is nothing but a pussy.

I dont know you, but how you write is simply demonstrative of the problems between men and women today. You think men should GAF about your career goals and your wants, when all men want is peace for their family and security. Women are opportunists and love conditionally and men love unconditionally. Men are willing to die for their families, women simply are not. Your "we'll see" comment is what every feminist uses when going down with her ship. Maybe women should be eqaul to men in the boxing ring too? Maybe women should be drafted into wars? Women are a protected class and real men are an endangered species.

@Paulina
Thats the point though. It is about securing yourself, and not building a family. Our priorities are different. Men in general are willing to die for their family, to have a family, to provide for wives and children. Women, they are generally more concerned with survival without a husband, or after a husband than actually having a family. Dont get me wrong, I am not saying your view of things is "wrong", I am saying most men dont share the feamal feminist views, and that is a huge problem not just for relationships, but for the world. Most men want traditional roles, most women think that they are outdated, and men will never change their minds on this. Men think with genetic predisposition to these traditional roles, women want to have some social construct that simply defies the laws of nature.

Women are graduating more than men in the US for two reasons. Male enrolment is down, and trade school enrolment is up. Men are also leading the startups in the US, and you dont need a degree for that, just a good idea and some startup money. Men are more prone to take chances.

As for my observations in Poland, they are really mostly based on what I see daily in Krakow. We have a lot of interaction with people, and I would say more on that but some people like to take information here and use it to go after people personally. My observations may be statiscally wrong, but they are my observations based on what my wife, myself, and our friends see.

@Paulina.
Based on living in the US for 50 years, and dealing with women from all walks of life there. There are less barriers to education in Poland and that is a big advantage. As for Poland, most of the men I know, or have met, stopped at an under grad degree, and most women have masters or PHD. As for the pay gap in Poland I understand this being nearly non existent since I have been employing people here for six years, and know who asks for how much and what we pay them. Little difference if any.

Trump for Poland? He gave Poland the visa waiver. He sent military to Poland. He will fully support Poland if elected.

Wokeism is the absolute poison the leftist socialist agenda, and indoctrination of children that LGBTQ fvcks try to promote. It will end one way or another.

@Lyzko
What else sounds familiar? Experimental vacinations? Restricted travel unless proof of vaccination sounds a lot like wearing an arm band with a star on it. You cant work without proof of vaccination? Sounds a lot like you have to join the Nazi party to have a job. And then years later, as in today, science says young people should have not been vaccinated, and people who refused to get a jab lost their jobs and cannot get them back.

Maybe we should make everyone equal? No wealthy people, no poor, no property rights? Everyone gets a basic income and works for the State? How about redrawing district lines to create more power for your party when assembling government? What about the "Democratic" government being caught censoring social media and paying Twitter millions to do it? Those documents are now public, and FaceBook has admitted they took money for campaign adds that were full of lies.

Trump was an a$$hole and terrible speaker for the office. But he never started a war, or class warfare like Biden has. Trump did not weaponise law enforcement like Biden has with selective prosecutions. Under Biden the prices of buying a home in the US have doubled in three years. Interest rates are sky high. Biden claims creation of jobs, when all that happened was that the people who were out of work due to COVID returned to work. The whole Democratic platform is a lie.

News / How will Poland be affected by WW3 which has now started [559]

Why do Americans tend to believe in all these ridiculous conspiracy theories?
Is it because they don't trust their own government or is it because of all of the conspiracy theorists on American media?

Respectfully, the conspiracy theory of COVID coming from a Wuhan Lab was pretty much confirmed by the CIA saying it is more likely that it came from the lab than an outdoor market. And yes, Americans in general dont trust the government, and with good reason. The CIA and NSA were spying on Americans in the United States for years illegally and they admitted to it. There are countless other reasons as well. Anyone trusting any government is simply foolish.

@Miloslaw
Respectfully, Poland doesn't have near enough military to protect itself against anyone yet. With 200K active military, 20K deployed to NATO and 350K in reserves, that barely exceeds the number of Russians in Ukraine and on the Russian/Ukraine border. Russia could easily mobilize another million in a matter of weeks. PiS did well signing contracts, but next to nothing has been delivered.

The EU needs a united and huge military to deter any further agression. Only then will Russia and everyone else take the EU seriously on defense.

Poland has done a great job buying equipment for a war, but the numbers of soldiers being trained is not enough. Bodies fighting win wars, not equipment sitting in storage because there is no one to operate it.

Germany has the production capability to really make things happen. Why they are not, is simply not explainable.
