Moutarde Ancienne.
It has whole mustard seeds, like Musztarda Ukraińska, but milder. Useful in cooking.
Pretty well the only foreign ones I'd buy.
The French one is exciting with its unground seeds

I've never seen bed socks in Poland. Perhaps because homes are usually heated well. They're old fashioned, but as well as wearing them in bed, they can be a good alternative to slippers around the house.
I do have slippers, mostly the ones they give you in nice hotels and did had some leather ones but the cat shredded them.

Often. We used to grow it on the farm when I was a kid and I but it now in PL. Much better than the stuff in jars (which is ok for making sauce). It's easy to choose between mild or hot depending on which bit of the root you grate.

People tend to prefer it mild in PL.
I'm used to the strongish kind (which doesn't involve eggs) that's traditional in England. There's little that goes better with cold roast beef.
Good that some shops in PL sell the root to grate.

How silly. Remember some people have jobs with a lot of travel; it doesn't mean they aren't at home a lot too.

Working in a mustard milll is a famously nasty job. When it was still milled in Norwich, it used to be done by students in their vacation and semi-homeless the rest of the time; not many other people could stand it for long. Now the company has been bought by (I think) Belgians and the production (like everything else) has been switched abroad.
Quite a lot of mustard leaf is grown for using in Indian food. I used to see it in front gardens belonging to Pakistani families in Bradford but now it's in the shops more. It's an importańt ingredient in some curries. We grow it on the terrrace in pots.
There's a mustard mill in Silesia which mills it for ready made mustard, though really only one traditional brand dominates.

That would be too much hassle. We just buy the powder. You can get ready made as well however it loses its kick very quickly.
It's handy as a cooking ingredient too. When imports moved to PL, I looked and actually bought some seeds to grind however it was a drag to do and the seeds were obviously of a mild variety. You can sometimes get tins of powered in Kuchnie Świata at a crazy price so I just bring it with me now.

Still do, in theory. There are strict rules about what the tattoo can be of and what voyage etc it represents. I'm entitled to several from the time I spent working at sea however I've not bothered and nor did most of the people I was on board with.

Jeans are practical, but I've never liked trainers. Too much hassle to lace up and they look bad quickly. Some people really take them seriously given the crazy prices for ones that look much the same as the cheap ones.
They look good on maybe 5% of the people who have them.
It filtered down. As did the literal clothes since they were sold and resold until they became rags.

Even back in the 70s men dressed more formally. And going out in the 80s involved a proper jacket. Then clothing companies started to market 'sportswear' at people, cheap to make, high retail markup. It always seems rather shameful to wear sportswear while not doing sports.
A divorced friend who takes his kids to school says that he saves all the camel toes for his wank bank.

I remember my granny saying that women wore those when she was a kid and if they wanted a pįss or worse when they were out and about, they just squatted over the gutter since those long skirts provided privacy.
In the days before washing machines, those long skirts must have been a real hassle and permanently mucky.
Ties are largely useless, however jackets are still worn. I mostly wear proper jackets rather than things that just look like kids' clothes.
Also - unpractical, because those long skirts would get dirty quickly during autumn and winter time.

But, I'm happy that neckties and jackets are no longer requirements

Strange you should mention there, however if you're interested, mustard in the U.K. tends not to be ready made.
So basically marketing. If it sells the product, why not?

Normal enough. Ready-made mustard is laden with artificial preservatives and has a long shelf life if unopened. It probably left the factory well before Putler launched his invasion.
I've seen that too but not tried it. I wonder what's different about it.
