Poles were not allowed to build passenger or military aircraft. The same was true for East Germans; the Russians didn't want them to. Poles, on the other hand, built cool agricultural and training planes for the army.

I'm not sure why you're asking - dumb Americans have been buying junk from China for decades now and they enjoyed it. China has been trying to sell the same junk to Poland / EU, but quickly realized Europeans are not dumb f*ks.

Poland is more than capable of designing and manufacturing advanced military drones, for example. I think the new Polish president will make it happen, especially when the RU-UKR war continues.
