Do Polish people have big noses?

Polish don't have "big" noses - But they certainly have the eastern european nose - pointy and arched. Doesn't make them bad looking but they do.

Yes,that's right.It differentitates Poles from Czechs for example who have a smoother nose.(perhaps as result of mix with Germans).

one of my friends told me i look like a jew(i think she was talking about my nose) & my dad calls me a jew too(nose agian) but they shouldnt be talking they both have huge noses(so does my sister but they dont wanto to hurt her feelings) but no not all poles have huge noses have you seen that 16 year old russian designer(i think her name is kira plastina or something like that) she has a huge nose so dont feel bad & ur friend shouldnt be talking

I think polish people you can recognise them by there big nose and bad hair cut..........hahahaha.

Im half Polish and I have a sharp longish nose.
Ive noticed that Polish guys have noses that tend to arch downward.
MiddleEastern people are known to have big noses

I was just reading this thread and it's hilarious. Thanks for the laugh. I too have a "Polish" nose, not big, but kind of ski slope like. (No pun intended). I inherited it from my grandfather. This may seem strange, but often I can distiguish some Polish people by their facial features and that includes their slender, long noses. :)

You're "friend" is a tad bit ignorant. All Slavic people share similar genes, but big noses are not a major feature in a Polish face, there are many genetic studies you can google on Slavs and Poles.

My genetics prof said that there was a study in 2000, 2003 etc. about the most attractive people in the world based on Science, face proportion etc. and Polsh women were number 1 followed by Venezuelan women, and Polish guys scored pretty well, so I guess you can tell your friend that BIG NOSES are a positive thing ;). But no, it;s not true, some have larger noses than others, just like in Ireland, England, Zimbabwe, Ecuador...

on youtube there are many posts about Polish faces- models, mostly tell her to check it out and shut it!!

This is interesting for me. My grandfather surname is Bandur. My mother said she is 100% Polish. I know her mother is Polish for sure. I looked up Bandur and it's from Hungary. My mother and I have a distinct nose, known as "the Polish nose," she claims. It is not big, but it has a certain arch to it that I see in Polish People. I have been asked if I am Eurasian because of my eye shape and when I tell people I am Polish they say that is the Polish look. I only have seen a couple of Polish with these type of eyes and I am confused about this. Hopefully someone may help me.

I have a big nose.. atleast I think so. It has a "bump" on it that my dad has as well... and he's 75% Polish. My mom has it too, probably moreso than my dad and she's probably about 30-40% Polish. I really dislike my nose from the side, but from the front I don't mind it. But many people tell me I have a big nose. :( It's one of the things I'm the most self-conscious about. But now I just don't care any more. I'm content with who I am and proud of any Slavic look I have. :D

This is a picture of my great-great grandfather who was Polish-Russian and he doesn't have a big looking nose. At least, I don't think so.

Ive a big nose and Im Irish, its so big you could hang a wet duffle coat from it, it never held me back in life. Women subconsciously equate big noses with big willys so its great
