Both Łódź and Katowice are traditionally industrial and/or mining towns and a bit rougher and more drab than some other cities (Łódź has undergone campaigns to make it look nicer but I don't know how effective). Warsaw and Kraków already have a lot of foreigners and manners are bit more brusque than some other areas.

What city are you in (or close to) in Belgium? I've only been in Brussels (yech) and Antwerp (mostly pretty nice)

I live at the north east edge of Belgium. Half hour from Maastricht

Too touristy and full of Krakusy... let's just say I had a (Polish) colleague who spent a few decades there and.... didn't have many positive things to say about the people.

This is my impression too. He suddenly looks much less Polish than before. This new tint of his hair makes him look much more Germanic now, sort of Nieder Sachsen/Nederland mixture. I guess he would be R1b genetically.

Yes, true, but at least they love Jews so it is perfect for our Belgian friend. In Krakow even football fans call themselves Jews and are proud of it.

If I'm not mistaken, Kraków has the highest percentage of people of Jewish origin of all Polish towns today. On visiting the Nowy Cmentarz Żydowski once, I saw quite a number of contemporary Jewish burials there.

Like I said... a larger city that's not Warsaw, Cracow, Lodz or Katowice.... Look for university towns (maybe ones with programs in Dutch philology).

Bro don't get me wrong, I am not jewish! It's just that my last name sounds really jeeish and most people think I'm jewish just because of the name 😉

In Poland most people wouldn't care they are not as racist as people in Belgium.

Ok that's great and Yes you're right. People here are extremely racist! Especially against africans etc. Btw they say the same about the polish people but I only have good experiences with polish people, so I don't listen to their opinion. it's just the fact that Belgium is very closed minded in many ways.

Actually, I don`t know any, I would have to google them so you can also easily do it on your own. The Polish word for a date is randka.

I am an American of Polish descent, I've always wondered if I look Polish.
