News / Metal concerts in Poland- where to launch them? [7]

hehe, sure, i don't like kraftwerk, laibach or rammstein in english but this is specific, industrial music and harsh german language fits perfectly.

Halber Mensch

true, but ...

Einsturzende Neubauten

...what about sabrina? can't imagine this song in german

german is the language of war and industry imo :)

Travel / Polish roads as recorded by myself earlier today [74]

I'm just curious... What would be the punishment, if you were caught by the police driving 160km per hour as in the first movie?

ha, that's the good question. Few days ago polish police stopped czech who drove 250 km/h on the road with 100 km/h speed limit. he got only 500 pln ( ~ 200 $ ) speeding ticket. isn't it ridiculous ?

Travel / Polish roads as recorded by myself earlier today [74]

but (being frankly with you) people usually give 'em a bribe (about the same to what you wrote ~200$).

yeap, our latino-slavic mentality ;)
200 $ for someone who can affort a car that drives 250 km/h is nothing. i belive that many guys would pay this money to be allowed to go so fast on the regular roads.

History / Poland's National Heros [17]

this young man was a true hero:

Władysław Raginis (June 27, 1908 - September 10, 1939) was a Polish military commander during the Polish Defensive War of 1939. He commanded the defence of Polish fortified positions in the Battle of Wizna.
