Study / anyone with CELTA? [73]

What is better, CELTA or TEFL.

Both would be a 4 week course.

Language / Help with Sentence Structure! [16]

I am in the same place as you Foxxi. The sentence structure is the same as English.

subject verb object

However adjectives can come before or after the noun.

What gets tricky is that adjectives have to match nouns for gender.

Then verbs have to be declined. I made the mistake of buying 301 Polish verbs and it confused me.

Law / US citizen whose Grandparents came from Poland - citizenship question [14]

I am working with a Polish lawyer right now on this. The forms I was sent go back to great grand parents. What I have read on another site was that it depends on the reasons that everyone left Poland and whether or not they were naturalized in the new country. If they were fourced to leave you have a much better chance.

Genealogy / how many know their own family histories? [139]

I can trace my ancestors back to the ships they came over to the US on.

1 set of great great grandparents came from Germany in 1884 or so.
1 set of great great grandparents came from Poland in 1888 or so.

The rest of my great-grandparents came over from Poland from 1909-1914.

6 of 8 great-grandparents born in Poland.

1 great-grandparent born in US of Polish Parents.
1 great-grandparent born in US of German Parents.

The thing is I don't know is where they lived in Poland.

I am trying to find out. If I can prove my ancestory I might be able to get Polish citizenship.

My girlfriend can trace her family back to the 1500's.

Love / What is Sexy to men and women in Poland? [101]

is that a must? hmmm! :)

Yes it is! ha ha ha

My girlfriends accent drives me wild! It doesn't really matter what she says. When she tells me I am strong and handsome I fall even deeper in love with her. Even listening to her speak Polish is hot.

USA, Canada / advice on where to live in Canada [64]

You could move to Windsor. There are many Polish stores across the bridge or tunnel in the Detroit burbs.
