Very insightful for a man.
There is no trust in your relationship. For whatever reason your girlfriend doesnt trust you.. maybe its justified and maybe not.. but you need to work on this if your relationship is to survive. In the meantime forget about the other girl unless you fancy her, in which case you should dump your current gf as you will end up cheating on her.

i always find myself saying... somebody 'speaking' something instead of somebody 'said' something.. not that I dont know the difference, but ive got into a habit of it when speaking to my partner as he has got used to it. Somebody told me that you are doing people no favours when you speak to them in bad english as it becomes habit forming, which is very true and later hard to break.

you are not alone.. I am in a similar position and my english is crap now, I find myself saying weird things at work in bad grammar and I sometimes get asked whereabouts in Eastern Europe I am from, even though Im English.. It becomes quite worrying when people dont believe you are from your native country.

As much as I wish you well and hope it works out for you, my feeling is that the girls are right here.. crap as that is for you. I am also sure that is a pretty major issue that you are not only a foreigner, but also not a Catholic.

Here, the snivels are enough to warrant a day off for many people. The problem is, you give them the easy option and they'll take it

well the alternative is often worse for your colleages.. About 5 people in my office are currently battling the flu, they are struggling in to work and I have to sit next to them coughing and sneezing all day.. and guess who will be next? I would rather they stayed home.

i would say its pretty obvious why people might want to go the Doctor more, if it is free for them. Dont you have to pay in Poland? Polish men like to keep a lot of medication in the house in case of all possible ailments.

I like hand kissing. I sometimes kiss my bfs hand too and he thinks thats very funny, but hey this is the age of equality. Cheek and air kissing is another minefield, do you do one, two or even three and should you make contact or not? Obviously its different in every culture, but a tricky issue.

I think she may be partly telling the truth. This is also my experience of dating a Polish man, although things have changed now since we have been together some time. in the beginning it was very similar to your experience.. I think its a combination of culture and also insecurity. The cultural thing can also relate to the age of your partner.. i.e. attitudes are changing amongst younger people, but is she is of a certain age, then this might be justified.. only my opinion.

i dont think you need to have a name day to get drunk! Still, its a nice excuse.. I had a nameday party recently for my bf. I wanted to get a cake, but he said it wasnt the thing to do, only lot of drinking and other food. Anyway, Im looking forward to celebrating my new day next week. Anything else I should know in order to do it properly.
