Actually Poland or any slavic country have lesser people...and our populations are visibly decreasing....therefore less consumers.

All the people of entire Europe together is 731,000,000. Its including the growing immigrant populations, who are now European aswell. Even this diversified European population is no match for the population of one single countries in e.g. Asia. China is far ahead, so is India... plus, if you join the population of a few Asian countries (and i mean a few) you might end up having a figure far stronger than 731,000,000.

Plus, the fact that our populations are on the decline (apart from some communities whose populations are doing REMARKABLY well, such as the indian or other easter background communities in Europe). E.g. look at Russia... its in such a position that after some decades, or at best a 100 yrs... its not hard to think that we will see a Russian once-in-a-blue-moon...INSIDE RUSSIA! (though Russian are not exactly European... but still I pulled in this example....Poland is going through similar pattern...so is Estonia and Latvia).

No clue. No one can help you in this.

There is a possibility he considers you as an interesting friend. Another possibility is that he is just having some fun abroad with a foreign girl (as is the case with many Polish men who go abroad, as I am well aware of).

Or he might even be interested in you. If he is interesting, you should be able to know gradually if you allow him to come forward more. But allowing him in bed (as with many British ladies I keep hearing...) is an option which if you take, maybe that will not give results which you might like. But its your life, and its so early.

You said you go to the same parties. I have a friend who used to say negative aspects of his many English girlfriends while doing work in England, most of whome he met in parties. Now he is married to a Polish woman. I am not saying he is a good man, but he is my friend non-the-less. Everyone with their own attitudes towards life. But it seems this is the case for a good amount of men.


I seriously want to refute your statement. I this its a disgusting thing to marry or love someone for a green=card. Marriage is so holy and pure. Love is so precious and matchless. Specially with someone innocent its a great crime.

But alas, just recently, I know there are possibilities of this statement being a fact. My friend who is in USA is an expert in these things, and he managed to get some of my other friends in USA through somehow having them fallen in somekind of temprorary love! Its a long and pathetic story.

Ofcourse, please be sure that not all Poles are like that.

But, yes, some are. And its so planned :), sometimes I am sure the girl/boy never will understand (added the fever of love). If the love happens to be strong, some I heard stay with the partner. Others, they are more practical and ambitious, and know what was their purpose for this relationship. The advice they are given from friends is that 'Remember your purpose, dont be a fool. Wait for the right time...etc'.

And I scaring ppl? But why are ppl going to be scared. There are good and bad everywhere. Every nation, every culture.

But dont let the pessimism stop you from being in true love. True love is blind from all the material aspects. Remember this blindness, look for it (in yourself and him/her). Color, culture, language, tradition, money, ambition, career...when everything stops to matter for both of you...and both of you are ready to live in TIMBUKTOO :) if you have to, just to be with each other....then its love! Sex after marriage is a good signal to (might seem to conservative, but its not). Children, respect for each others parents... commitment...etc. So important.

I sincerely belief that such couples dont meet in bars or parties (the alcohol, drug, sex ones)... anyways...

But anyways, I agree with you that it must be something to do with the food (i.e. if its a non racist comment about the odour). However, I have had friends from india and bangladesh, and I didnt get any wrong smells. And mind you, I take hygene very seriously, and can smell something rotten in no time :).

Firstly, as Mods like to delete threads alot... HOW DOES THIS THREAD RELATE TO POLAND? (to the mods).
[as for our USA friends, please dont take that above statement personally. I respect and love to discuss about you ppl, but I need to understand the mods more clearly...].

Secondly, kids need to find parents in their parents, more then they need to find friends. Friends we can get many, parents we can get only two people as one. Its a unique gift of God. On a more serious note:

I shower everyday in the evening after having a 120 minutes excercise :). I use soap all over my body, twice. First I rinse strongly, then wash away :). Second, I rinse solftly, then wash away :).

I use the best shampoo. A little ... everyday. Applied once... :)

I carefully apply soap at every part of my body. Nothing must be left alone, otherwise its injustice to that part!

I use much water.

I use towels... terry!... I got two... so that when I wash one (once a week), the other is clean and dry to be used :).

I always use soap to wash my hand.

I carry an clean handkercheif :)

I use good, clean, beautiful toilets. My toilet is only mine... no one to share it with :).

I use toothpaste to clean my teeth :), I also use tooth brush.

I shave everyday, and then use anticeptic after shave.

I wear only clean cloth. My cloth must be clean everyday. One pair of cloth for oneday only, not continue it the second day :). One pair of cloth in home too... same rule applies.
