Polish National moving back to Poland but continuing to work for a company based in the UK

Hello,

I am a Polish citizen who has been living and working in the UK for 17 years. I have decided to move back to Poland in June of this year, but I want to keep working for my current UK employer remotely.

I am looking for some guidance on what I need to do and what I can expect when I relocate, especially regarding tax, social security, health care and banking. For example, which country will I pay tax to? How will my social security and pension rights be affected? Will I need to open a Polish bank account or can I keep using my UK one?

I have searched online, but I have found conflicting or confusing information on these topics. I would appreciate it if anyone on this forum could share their experience or advice on moving from the UK to Poland and working for a UK company in Poland.

Thank you!

I'm Polish, and I am being barraged with messages by 18-20 yo Ukrainian girls on a daily basis. You can't even begin to imagine how good we have it here. They still value themselves, though, it's just much easier to get their initial attention.

Ones that speak Polish, and which are integrating well, like to sh*it on new Ukrainian refugees a lot, saying that these new arrivals are jealous of their Polish language skills and higher tier jobs, and that they perceive them as traitors (the integrated ones kind of are tbh, don't think they will ever go back).

Feel kind of like sh*it talking to those girls. Also, their ukro simps often make drama about their female friends talking to Polish dudes.
