Are Polish male students more physically confrontational compared to Canadian male students?

I've noticed that the male students from Poland tend to use more physical violence to settle disputes. Unlike in Canada where physical confrontations are highly regulated and extremely rare overall, I've noticed that Polish male students will get physical really fast and beat the crap out of each other in the event of a confrontation.

At my school in Canada a teem boy from Poland punched and injured another guy and the principal took it very seriously. He even came into the class and said counseling is available for trauma. But the Polish girls in the class shrugged and said "But guys fighting at school is normal in Poland." On the other hand, local Canadian white students were very well behaved and non confrontational overall even the male students. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen Canadian white students get into physical fights except once.

My experience is anecdotal though. Anyone else notice this?

Ohhohohoho!

Great mystery! Definitely worth further investigation...

I'm sorry to hear that.

In Poland male pupils eventually grow up to be men. What do those testosteroneless freaks in Canada grow up to be?

We probably have more testosterone than other nations; it could come from our chivalrous genes ;) But "boys will be boys" is losing its appeal it seems.

Well, during my time at school (secondary school) it was more that stronger boys were bullying weaker ones - that was commonplace (and sad and disturbing). Fortunately they grew out of it at highschool.

There's nothing "chivalrous" about bullying weaker boys from poor families :(

Where I come from, in a Polish middle school I've often watched boys from "poor" families fighting other boys, and believe me - they were physically stronger than the ones from well-off families. Probably less sugar and garbage food plus more physical work made them stronger and more resilient. Besides, I don't think the OP mentions the well-being of the families, but I could be wrong.

If they've attended school in Poland, they've been exposed to a very low quality school environment.

low quality school environment.

The schools on the outskirts of Liverpool were probably even worse.

I doubt it. That city has a pretty good tradition of education.

There was the famous Scotty Road deschooling project however that wasn't in the suburbs and is sadly long gone.
