Polish Visa from London Embassy

Hi all, this may be a long shot but wanted to see if anybody can help out there.

My Polish wife and I are moving to Poland from the U.K. (I am British) so I will need a Polish visa. However we are having a very difficult time trying to speak with anybody or get some dates to head to the embassy. Does anybody know when dates are released or how to speak with anybody to arrange a visa appointment? Many thanks

It's the Consulate you want, not the embassy. You can make the appointment online.

Thanks for the message. I have been trying but no available appointments coming up - not sure what I am doing wrong/is going on. Can I ask, if you go to the link do you see any appointments for visa and london? Thanks.

If you dont get the appointment for long term stay visa,just show up and you can do that at the local immigration office in Poland.You will anyway have to translate and transfer your marriage certificate in Poland if you were not married there.

Thanks cargo pants - my wife saw somebody from the London embassy on YouTube saying it has to be done in London. Will defo look into it in Poland. Still not had any luck with the website, no dates. Maybe there is an exact time to look when they are released but no sign of that.

I had the same issue with the appointments but we were after the schengen visa.

Set up the website as your default website and check for appointments whenever you use your browser. It took us 4 days to find an appointment.

My daughter starts work in Poland at beginning of Sept. We have been trying to get an appointment at London consulate via their online system for 2 MONTHS now!!! There is NEVER anything available despite trying on different days/times etc. I emailed consulate directly and was told appointment dates are released on Fridays - so spent several weeks going online from midnight onwards - still NOTHING AVAILABLE. My husband contacted them and was told appointments were released on Mondays (??!!). Will now have to go down route of getting Temporary Residents Permit when she arrives in Poland, but have been told this can take months and that she will not be able to leave/return to Poland in the meantime - so she may not be able to come home for Christmas. Any advise would be great!

What citizenship does she have ?

Normally her Polish employer would sort out the work permit and formalities ? Have you told them about these difficulties
