Not Gay: Making Friends With Polish Men In The UK.

i am in and from uk, i try to make friends with poles, i end up making friends only with polish women, dont take it wrong i am not complaining and i am not gay but just wondering why its difficult to make frienship with polish men in UK.

well i think the reason is the polish women who come are doctors or nurses or educated group but the polish men who come here are mostly into manual labours- i think thats why they are bit introvert-

i am of indian orgin and working as doctor in uk, i feel the the polish men here are naive about other race so .. i think you understand

but the polish women here who are more educated, broadminded and also i havent come across one male polish doctore here .

As he said, it must be easier with educated people (who can probably speak English).
Those who are there for 'manual labours' may not be fluent in English (at all) and may find it too difficult to have a proper conversion with someone who doesn't speak his own language. I guess ;)

yes i have asked my polish doctor friends about why men doctors dont come out of the country- some said thats because usually their parents are doctors and they get settled easily while female doctor has to come out of the country- but i dont think it sound very resonable explaination

Polish people are not the most tolerant of other cultures , and if these guys are from the countryside , they have probably never seen anyone with non white skin.....

Polish males are quite friendly but it all comes usually to drinking.

coming back this topic, well first the place i am talking about which is UK hospital there are no polish men around to be jealous, second the division is not about white and non white, its more about local population and foreigners- so the polish or hungarian or greek identify themselves more with indian doctors and nurses than with british......
