It happens recently, true.

Luckily it is only tourist who ever attempt to have a bath in the Baltic Sea - we, the locals, only look at them with barely concealed feeling of superiority. ;)

have a bath

I bathed in the Gdańsk bay a couple of times (but not during the blooms of course)

I guess people from Tri-City go to Kashubian lakes to dip into water (like the Żarnowiec lake)

Well, I suppose it's possible... if one really feels the urge. ;)

I like Kashubian lakes indeed. Szarlota (near Kościerzyna) is a nice place.

So it is 32 in southern Poland now. And quite humid too

It's 32.8 where I live now, but earlier it was 34.2 and not on the sunny side even... And not humid at all - only 30% humidity :/ Another week long heat wave is starting ;(

I want to live in the North now ://

It is 16.6 C here where I live right now with a cool breeze blowing off Lake Michigan.
Excellent sleeping weather with the windows open.
This weather is on the way to Poland next week so hang in there and stay hydrated.

Yes, humidity decreases along the day. The mornings are the worst.

Weather - What's your take on it? Tell us a tale about it

It's raining now, one could think I am in England as I have only heard the worst about the weather there.

Right after I have been to the swimming pool to cool off from the heat, here in Warsaw

The elements are a bit extreme right now - a thundersnowstorm with very strong wind - I can see snow is flying horizontally in the gale. Amazing view. Good I am staying at home but later on I need to get the car back from a nearby garage. It won`t be fun to cover this walking distance on foot. :):)

Welcome back, pawian.
We missed your wit here.
With winds like that, the windchill factor is dangerous so cover your face to avoid frostbite on your nose and ears.
It is minus -14 C here, where I live, right now with light snow and no wind.
Debating on going skiing or staying home to do some baking.
I think the wild blueberry pie and blue berry muffins are going to win the debate.

At last. It started raining and is going to for the whole day. In the last moment coz I have nearly emptied my well. And I don`t want to use so much tap drinking water coz I consider it a waste.

It is the fourth time we have had precipitation since the beginning of April. The fourth within 100 days!
Global warming is a fact. Anybody who denies it is an idiot.

In an airport now flying back from Africa today. Looking forward to Polish rain and hopefully a downpour to help the garden which is definitely s bit dry.

and hopefully a downpour

No downpour but the showers are coming in steady waves so the effect will be the same. :):)

Go with BB for a beer when you have time.
Train or rain?

Too tired.

A very very long day, too many airports, too many delays. And miles to go before I sleep.

Rain not train. It would be nice to see some. There are a few clouds so here's hoping. Scorching hot Africa this morning, mild Europe now.

It rained enough and water went down deep into the ground. Now we need hotter weather for tomatoes, peppers and aubergines to grow nicely. But it is only around 20 degrees. Damn.

. Now we need hotter weather

You need what we are having in London right now.
27 today, 32 on Tuesday and Wednesday, but because a are an island, that is also very humid and 32 in the UK will feel like 40 in Poland.
OP pawian  221 | 25184
9 Jul 2022   #148
that is also very humid

Really? I sweat like a horse in humid conditions. :(:(:(

I bet you

That is logical. :):):)

But it is only around 20 degrees.

It is so cold at night that I take the tortoise from his garden enclosure into the house.
