Yes. When younger, I cried reading them. And imagined myself a defender of Warsaw, my fave city in Poland. :):) The city which became the capital of Poland as the last of all in late 16th century and through time fully deserved its reputation as indomitable city.
Like very delicate young green beans - fasolka szparagowa. The skin of young pods becomes so soft it melts in the dish, creating a jelly like texture. There are round seeds inside but they are soft too. Very interesting veg.

Yes it is fake news.But is very popular in Indian and Chinese dishes.Most Indian restaurants have it in Warsaw also many Indian and Chinese grocery stores sell it.Its also called "Lady Finger"
