Who uses a manual to change a tyre/wheel?

With cars it always was a level playing field - there were no tariffs in either direction and so it came down to consumer choice

American cars were not popular in crowded Europe and Asia - too big and too much fuel needed.

Nobody. People with brains call road service.

I was a pallbearer for one who decided to it herself.

You must be sure to make your statement.Germany, for one, was charging a 10% tariff, and America was charging 2.5 %. There is no blind like one who refuses to see

Despite all this, American cars in Europe were quite cheap, although more expensive than all cars, including imports, in the USA. Now that will change for Americans. The car will become a luxury.

Volkswagen (Audi, Porsche) have temporarily suspended deliveries of all cars to the US.

Anyone planning on fixing the brakes, should do so with the wheels off.

Id like to watch some idiot try fixing brakes with the wheels on, it would be quite entertaining. Picture Tampon Tim Walz tying to change a tire...lol

Na, the biggest pos is a Peugeot. What a hunk of crap!

The market says otherwise Joker - 40 percent of cars bought in the US are imported.

Let the market decide - unless you want a return to the Polish style socialism you escaped from

Tarrifs will change that 40 percent to 4 percent after Japs and Koreans move their factories here.

There...I solved it for you.

You can enjoy Euro crap cars all you want. Since Euros will ship fewer of them to us, their prices should go down in Europe...You know...supply and demand...

So you should like Trump's tariffs just as much as we do.

You might still be able to pick up a European model down one of those second hand car lots with zero percent finance and some dodgy looking stains.

Cars in Europe have historically been more expensive than in the United States simply because Europeans were willing to pay more for them than Americans. They will probably remain just as expensive, while the Americans will raise prices in their own market.

No. I have a Yugo.

Either way, 44% of new American car purchases are imported.I wonder why...... American cars are crap!

American cars are crap!

Trading, by definiion, cannot produce deficit. A potato exchanged for a banana is a trade. Zero deficit. Zero surplus.

A potato for a dollar is purchase, not a trade. I eat the potato so it's gone and you still have that dollar and can buy a farm. Unsustainable disaster in slow motion...

As far as American cars being crap...tough shlt...I may not like what I cook myself but I can spend only so much eating out or I will go broke.

EV executioner...tree

I regularly have to drive 500-600 km at a time, no electric car is an option. To think that my car with a microscopically small 42-litre fuel tank covers these distances without refuelling on the way and still has fuel left in the tank for about 200 km.

If they could solve the range problem I would get an electric tomorrow. I want 500km, no debate, no questions asked.

I am sure something will become available in a couple of years.

4 places x 1000 euro each, every two days - fuel money and bribes.
No wonder you were so against PiS, because they built the border wall?

Apart from the driver, there are only 3 seats, and the ones in the back are only suitable for children. No, this car is not suitable for people smuggling.
