I am thinking about learning polish in Poland this summer for about 2 months. I have done some research on possible Polish language schools through the Internet but there are just way too many! So I have narrowed down to the language schools in the tri-city area (GdaĆsk, Gdynia and Sopot). Has anyone on this forum had experience or had dealt with the language schools in this area?
BTW, are the polish courses in Poland taught in English? or German? or possibly Russian?
I studied in the school in Sopot on two occasions and had a good experience both times. That was 15 years ago, so I don't know what I can really say about it now, but Sopot is lovely in the summer. Just watch out for the accommodation they may set you up with. I ended up staying with a widower and she was wonderful. She had a nice house in Gdansk-Oliwa, which is just a short commuter-train ride away from the school. Some of my classmates got put in awful housing blocks. Oh I am being melancholy now about my time there.
I will be staying in a smaller town in Poland for a period of two months in the fall of 2015. During the stay I would like to have private lessons in Polish. In the town there is only 1 supplier and the price pr. hour is 15 euro.
I am not familiar with prices related to individual teaching of Polish. My question is whether this is cheap, expensive or acceptable. It is a language school that offer this service so I must assume that their qualifications are superior. In advance, thank you so much for your feedback!
Hi, if you don't live in Poland and you would like to learn Polish online, you are welcome to this school! The lessons are conducted by certified teachers and they will also prepare you for the language exam.
