IKO gets universally good reviews from all who have been there, although I have heard opinions that it's a little but old fashioned.

Hey! If u want to improve your polish just find yourself a teacher ;) There's a site eduexplorer.pl/warszawa/j-polski-dla-cudzoziemcow were you'll find one and arrange a meeting. From my exprerience it's the best way to learn any language.

I am Irish and did a part of a Polish course a couple of years ago at IKO. They were great. I am not the best student. I may go back at some point to pick up where I left off.

I have learned Polish in CLIL school. They are in the city centre, have very good teachers and a program :-)

They're called CLIL but do they actually do CLIL? It's certainly used in some English language private secondary schools and a few university courses in PL but it seems unusual (not to say unique) in some walk-in language school.

Hello,

I am in Warsaw for three months so far, I came here for an intern :)

I have heard that Polish is so difficult so it took me a while to decide on a Polish language course, although I really need in everyday situations. A friend of mine recommended me Blackbird Academy. It's in the heart of Old Town so great location for evening's strolls after classes ;)

Really nice teachers and they are really cheap :) The class is 60 minutes long so you pay the same money for a longer lesson. I must admit I am really suprised about their commitment to student, after only 20h of course (and I am a little bit lazy :) ) I can say I am a strong beginner.

Here you can find some infos about them ;) ---> hello-blackbird.com/

Hello, any recommendation for weekly/monthly Polish courses in Warsaw? Thanks!

FROG. They are cheap (as they are cofunded by EU), have MANY classes for all levels and many different time slots (even on weekends) with the option of either one 3 hour class a week or two 1.5 hour classes.

When I was going it was like 400zl per semester which is peanuts compared to the big language schools. If you are unlucky you can end up in a rather large class but overall my experience there was very good.

Merged: Polish school in Warsaw - any recommendation?

Hi, I have recently moved to Warsaw and need a good & affordable Polish course.
Can you recommend any? I am not interested in meeting with a private teacher at home.
I am currently searching for a job so it is good for me to go out and learn at school.

In the olden days I used to go to IKO, which was not bad, but it depends a lot on your teacher.

Hi Guys,

Can anybody recommend somewhere or somebody who can give Polish Lessons near Janki, or perhaps Mokotow. I have no patience to drive into the city each evening but I really need to get my lessons rolling.

Thanks in advance!

Merged: Polish language schools / teachers in Warsaw?

Hi,

I'm looking to improve my Polish, particularly the grammar. I'm currently a conversational speaker. Does anyone know of any language schools in Warsaw (specifically) that teach Polish? Or any teachers? If so, any reviews on them?

Thanks for your help :)
