It was a good game, not boring for sure.
That last quarter was exactly why I really like the game. You had Brady getting intercepted, you had the Bucs defence shutting down Rodgers repeatedly, you had a very odd decision to go for the field goal rather than the touchdown on 4th and goal, and then a pair of reckless penalties by the Packers combined with excellent game management by the Bucs. Absolutely brilliant stuff.
Hes brings noting but baggage and nobody will touch him.
Yeah, I completely agree. If he took a knee once to make a point - fine. But he took it too far and made it all about him. I watched one interview of his and it was all "me me me", not a word about his fellow players. And that open tryout he did? Give me a break, I'm not surprised that no-one will touch him. And ultimately, when you think of quarterbacks, you think of leaders - not crybabies who blame everyone else for the fact that they're simply not good enough.
I cant see all that fighting coming back these days
No way, I guess it's also because it's much harder to justify using a roster spot on a guy who can't really play but who can fight. I found one fight between McSorley and Probert, and both of them are a mess by the end of it. The refs didn't even bother to intervene, they just let them go at it until they were clearly both exhausted.
And I haven't seen the movie - thanks for the recommendation!
