Except for that Polish guy you were so in love with eh? but dont worry I am sure he is the ONLY one like that. and you are going to LOVE customer service and government offices here...they are super!

Tj123 I've read your earlier post on the thread here: https://polishforums.com/archives/2005-2009/work/mechanical-design-engineer-company-36292/2/

Poland is quite simply not the first world modern nation is claims to be. It is stuck in the past.

So question to u what clothes should polish person buy to not follow the western fashion? What music to listen, what food to eat? I dont get it. I didnt know that there is some western fashion and Im not allowed to wear it unless Im complex ridden Pole...

does it really matter?

Its minor problem, a detail. I just feel odd when someone call me eastern european, because in poland we dont refer ourselves that way. I'm curiouse why the westernians wants to regards us as easterns europeans. They would even argue...

you don't even know me...

Have I ever said I know you?

can you please me? I'm not gay

I'm a girl... So it seems u r ;>

what you mean native ?

Was u bringing up in Poland?

sometime I can't be bothered

U know its very polish to insult ppl without a reason...

I don't care.....

Well, just chating about it. Nothing wrong in having a disccusion, isnt it? Its nothing to make a fuss but still its intresting subject to talk about.

weird nick for a girl

...like two last letters of the alphabet written backward ?

zetigrek:
Was u brought up in Poland?

yes

So you know that my generation (born in 80s) was brought up in culture which Tj123 would call "western" and we consider it as a normal state of being. Its not a sign of "The West World" fascination.

They are two different people. First one was an American in Poland and is no longer posting, plk123is a Pole in US and still actively posting.

polishforums.com/polonia-usa-canada-28/shocking-documentary-detroit-44225

I like (Democrat stronghold) Detroit: it's ex-mayor is a convicted felon and its school board head is an illiterate.

Best of all is the real estate: dirt cheap prices make for a great opportunity to experience its multicultural flair.

That said, many Poles (and other European ethnics) have fled the area to live their 'racist' lives elsewhere ...

I've already posted a doc about detroit:
polishforums.com/polonia-usa-canada-28/shocking-documentary-detroit-44225/

That said, many Poles (and other European ethnics) have fled the area to live their 'racist' lives elsewhere ...

Why many Poles? It is said that majority of Detroit citizen where from the south states.

I've posted a doc in which they accused rasism of making that city declined but I've seen another doc (on some different subject... detroit techno) where one of the musician (who is Afroamerican) said that it has nothing to do wth rasism or famouse riots, and its just awful infrastructure of the city which made ppl to move on suberbs

Poles (amongst other Europeans) actually did primarily settle parts of cities like Detroit, etc.:

Poletown is a section of Detroit, Michigan bordering the enclave city of Hamtramck, Michigan.
The area was named after the Polish immigrants who originally lived in the area (from 1870)...
freeway construction and urban renewal projects destroyed the neighborhood (like so many).
