It was great to meet you all at the last meetup on 20th november....any news on the next one...?

There'll be a meetup on the 11th December - I need to go into the city tomorrow and find a suitable venue. Could anyone who is interested please e-mail me @gmail so I can place you on a mailing list about meetups? :)

I just had an idea...which may or may not be a good one.....Would it be a fun idea if we all had small badges made with our Avatars on..? we would know who was who then...?

Of course it does not help that the avatars have disapeared from the forum...

Failing that we could all have our name tattooed on our foreheads...

What about people ho dont have a Avatar or people who are not member of the forums?!

I remember some time ago that the US contingent of PF had some t-shirts made up for a meeting.

Maybe somebody could get some Polish forum shirts sorted.....we could then get our own national flags put on there , or our names...???

All you need is:

Sticky back plastic
a yogurt pot
4 lolly sticks
2 pipe cleaners
sticky tape

Oh and to watch Blue Peter (if it is still on)

Poznan Meetup Thread - times, dates and details

Apologies for starting a new thread, but it's easier for newbies if they see the first post with location details for where we meet up! Admin - please don't delete this thread, there is something going on in Poznan virtually every week and this thread is invaluable for keeping details of these events in one place.

The location :

Van Gogh Cafe (but it's a pub, a proper boozer!), Zydowska 12, Poznan. It's located on the corner of Zydowska and Mokra, across from the PRL Pub. You'll find us downstairs in Van Gogh - if in doubt, ask at the bar for where the foreigners are!

Directions :

From Stary Rynek, Zydowska is in the corner nearest the town hall and the goats. You have to walk about 100m down Zydowska, and the Van Gogh Cafe is on your left hand side.

From Plac Wielkopolski, tram stop for 4, 8 and 17 - head down 23 Lutego until you reach Kramarska. Keep going down Kramarska until you reach Zydowska, turn left, then Van Gogh should be about 50m on your left hand side.

From Wroclawska, tram stop for 5, 13 and 16. Head down Wroclawska, across from Kupiec Poznanski shopping mall. When you reach Stary Rynek, follow the directions as above.

Great meetup! some how we managed to walk out of Poznan on a main road..... after and hour a taxi turned up and look us back to town lol
