When I work too much, I need to eat sth special, then I forget about stress and tiredness.

NO 1.
Salmon roe on buttered bread. I don`t use butter on daily basis coz I prefer olive oil or nothing. But I make an exception for special occassions.

Looks very nice and tasty.
My comfort foods are bigos, curries, kielbasa with ogorki kiszone,bacon and eggs.spag bol and steak and chips.Oh and good old fish and chips too!

Strawberry with sparkling wine (Champagne ) for a Silvester Party. Alternatively sparkling wine with black or red caviar.

A big fat slice of Lou Malanits Pizza!


And all this time, I thought it was Bananas........

Have you tried Bacon and Chocolate together? Its sounds gross but its actually goes together very well.

A heaping plate of bigos, pyzy, and lots of kapusta surowa, washed down with a nice tall (room temperature!!!) glass of Warta mocna, followed by some home-made jableczna and fresh-perked black coffee.

Then I'm a happy man:-)

Another similar comfort seafood is cod liver on bread. I usually keep one or two tins in the cupboard and when I am feeling down, I open it and first pour the oil onto the slice of bread and then spread the liver on it. Yummmy!

Never tried it.

It is very oily and smells of fish like hell - one of the best fragrances for me. :):)
Similarly, I also love sardines in oil. If I wasn`t so frugal, I could eat two tins at a time. But I limit myself to one tin, with the contents spread on two or three slices of bread.
