Journalists of tvn24.pl described how money from the fund of the Minister of Education, Przemysław Czarnek, went to organizations close to Law and Justice

More comments on the PiS scandal which prove that PiS men purposefully hugged (in the sense of illegal appropriation) huge sum of public money against all moral standards::

Justyna Suchecka-Jadczak, co-author of a series of articles, visited TVN24 on Wednesday. As she said, "this is disgusting, it is something very opaque, competitions take place in the shadows, in an atmosphere of understatements, those who have good connections and know what is to be won - enroll, win, will use the funds, and all the rest must wait".

- An extreme example, which we will write about, is a foundation from Rzeszów, which had been established just three days before the deadline for applications for Minister Czarnek's competition. But there are more such organizations that were established in 2022 and 2021. They operate for a shorter period than the period for which they committed themselves to operate in the area of education and upbringing. These foundations are often unable to demonstrate any activities related to education, she said.

The journalist also pointed out that "this competition was very short, there was a month to submit applications." - Non-governmental organizations that live on subsidies say that it is impossible to prepare an honest, reliable plan in a month, which will have a calculated budget - she said.

This, she said, "can be seen in these application forms." - Apart from, of course, punctuation errors, typos, we also have wrong addresses (...), there are applications in which it looks as if the first building in this amount was entered, things are listed that are hard to believe that they are needed for education . For example, paintball balls and guns, because in this way one of the organizations would like to teach defensive skills. Of course, this can be called an educational goal, but it is very doubtful - said Suchecka-Jadczak. There are also sentences and fragments that resemble applications written by artificial intelligence." - Such sentences: "education is the most important, it is our common cause, the future of the next generations, the fate of Poland depends on education." (...) Such empty words, bs speech - she quoted.

Thank you , PiS gangsters, for such clever appropriation of public money!

Our forum PiS fans and defenders are keeping silent on the matter. Funny ostriches. Let me now gather documents and facts for our future debates with them when they rise their heads from the sand.

Here is a complete story.

tvn24.pl/polska/willa-plus-co-trzeba-wiedziec-o-publicznych-pieniadzach-rozdawanych-przez-ministra-przemyslawa-czarnka-6723659

One fragment about a certain PiS related institution whose bid had nothing to do with education of young people yet, they received a huge donation from PiS Minister

The call for proposals lasted from August 22 to September 22. Between 4 October and 3 November, meetings of the competition committee evaluating the applications were held. Wednesday's "Fakty" TVN showed how their opinion looked like. Arleta Zalewska looked at the subsidy for the Foundation for Common Affairs Megafon . The amount of the targeted subsidy requested for the purchase of real estate and equipment is PLN 4,800,000. However, as the material of "Facts" shows , the assessment of the expert examining the application was unequivocal.

"The educational offer proposed by the applicant does not focus on supporting the education of children and youth, but is addressed to people of all ages, which does not fit into the objectives of the project.""That is why the proposed investment largely deviates from the framework of this programme." "The applicant has no experience in conducting investments from public funds, and the requested investment amounts to a very high amount. Therefore, granting a subsidy could be considered contrary to the principle of rationality and economy when spending public funds" - quote the document "Facts".

Megafon, despite the crushing assessment of experts appointed by Minister Czarna, received PLN 4,500,000.

Thank you, PiS!

Good, the Polish teachers are way overpaid for their babysitting duties.
Hats off to the PiS for seeing this as it is.

the Polish teachers

This recent scandal doesn`t concern teachers but certain foundations whose main activity is to help educate children. The problem is that most of the foundations which got donations are related to PiS or created by PiS political gangsters. And in some cases, their activity is far from educating children.

Excellent comment to a PiS politician by an opposition politician:

You bragged of being a party for millions, but you are a party of millionaires, because you create millionaires. You transfer money from a pile to a pile only for your own and you only think about your own interest.

More scandalous facts about PiS gangsters donating each other public money leak every day:

e.g,,
In an interview, Lubnauer assessed that "fourteen projects are directed to the Lubelskie Voivodeship, i.e. the home region of the Minister" Czarnek. - I would like to point out that only 5.5 percent of all Polish residents live in the Lubelskie Voivodeship, but they received practically thirty percent of the funding - she noted.

- Out of fourteen of these projects that go to the Lubelskie Voivodeship, ten have had a negative assessment of the advisory team. Ten out of fourteen, she noted. - There is a Volunteer Fire Brigade in Jakubowice Konińskie, where the headmaster of the school is his brother-in-law or brother. There is also the Sokół Gymnastics Society in Lublin, which received five hundred thousand - she described.

Lubnauer was further asked if she believed a crime had been committed in the grant case.

- If we believed with Ms. Szumilas that it was legal, we would not have submitted an application to the prosecutor's office. The notification to the prosecutor's office has already been submitted, because not all institutions, in our opinion, meet the competition criteria. So, firstly, co-financing was granted to those institutions that do not meet the competition criteria, and secondly, we are dealing with a situation in which, in the opinions of experts, it is written quite clearly that some spending of money can be considered inconsistent with the principle of rationality of spending public funds, she replied.

The MP pointed out that "if any property comes from a crime, i.e. it is considered that a crime has occurred, then there is an extended confiscation and it will be possible to recover these properties."

Jarosław Kaczyński's party receives the largest donations. In 2022, the highest payments were made not only by politicians, but also by people associated with PiS who preside in state-owned companies . Former deputy finance minister Piotr Nowak - currently a member of the PZU management board - paid PLN 45,150 in October. Daniel Obajtek , the head of Orlen, transferred 40,000 zloty. One of the record sums was also donated by Rafał Mucha - a former PiS MP from the board of Enea, who donated 42,000 to the party.

Piotr Zborowski , vice-president of Bank Pekao with the amount of PLN 50,000. zloty. Paweł Majewski (CEO of Enea - ed.) and Adam Burak (management board of PKN Orlen - ed.) were in further places on the podium ex aequo . Both for 45,000. zloty.

PiS has promised

Back on topic edition 155,75.

Last year Poland agreed to allow the import of Ukrainian wheat which was supposed to be sent to other countries. Polish farmers and the opposition warned PiS government of all the risks - they feared that the import might be sold in Poland instead of being re-exported. PiS accused them of being pro Kremlin traitors.

Now, everything what was predicted last year has come true - Ukrainian wheat remained in Poland and the low prices are ruining Polish farmers.

PiS` incompetence in action. For the upteenth time.

I wonder if the countryside is wising up that they can't trust the neo-PRLites in PiS to run anything.....

And if Ukrainian grain doesn't make it to where it's most needed (Africa and the Middle East) there will be economic problems followed by increased migration from those places to Europe....

PiS---- rolling disaster after disaster.... buffoons who need to be kicked out by the voters....

The government allowed at least 3 million tons of grain to be imported from Ukraine without any control. Domestic livestock fodder producers bought it, because it was half the price of the Polish one.

A long term solution for Polish farmers (at least in Northern Poland) would to make it easier and welcoming for scandinavian settlers, it would create not only movement, investments and improvements, but also reduce fears of Germans setlling in and buying out everything. Considering scandinavians nowadays are nothing like the vikings of old. I would say the risk is very low. It would counter the fears of German expansion and open up for further trade and development+improved relations with the Germans long term

easier and welcoming for scandinavian settlers,

Not a bad idea. But it is a long term enterprise while PiS has no idea what to do with the Ukrainian grain NOW.

To make things clear - it is not the fault of Ukrainians that their grain flooded the Polish market. It is only PiS` incompetence - they have no idea how to efficiently organise the re-export of that grain.

PiS has no idea what to do with the Ukrainian grain NOW.

PiS was unable to keep an eye on Ukrainian grain that crossed the Polish border. Instead of going further, it began to hit the local market. The usual economic mechanisms worked here: since cheaper grain from Ukraine appeared in the country (because the rulers were unable to stop it), buyers rushed to purchase it. Thanks to this, they could, for example, produce cheaper animal feed and become more competitive. As a result, grain prices went down, and Polish agricultural producers were left with an alternative: sell grain twice as cheap as a year ago or let it rot in silos. You really don't need a Nobel Prize in economics to predict such a course of events. Anyway, in July 2022, the former Minister of Agriculture from PiS Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski warned: grain from Ukraine would destroy Polish agriculture.

When such warnings appeared a year ago,PiS argued that it was the work of Russian propaganda. Now that there was a serious problem, they put the blame on the European Union and demand that it react. The problem is that the EU Commissioner for Agriculture is Janusz Wojciechowski, who was appointed to Brussels by the PiS government of Mateusz Morawiecki.

Exactly. PiS won the majority in 2015 and has been in power since then. However, they prefer to blame all their major bungles on others, mainly the opposition. In case of Ukrainian grain, they also blame the EU.

That explains why Amiga thinks economy is so much better now than it used to be - he doesn't live here and doesn't have to deal with the exorbitant inflation.

And, judging by Kaczyński's 'electoral sausage' promises, we can expect even higher inflation if they win the election. The only upside of them winning the election will be the strengthening of the army; if PO wins they will most likely abandon most defensive projects.
