clench teeth from the cold (water)

Yes, that`s what I meant. But Poles must clench their teeth and endure inflation crisis caused by PiS.

Printing money on a global scale since 2008 is the cause of inflation.

Printing money

And PiS has been doing it recently a lot.

Check this article from November 2020 which already warned of a higher inflation due to printing empty money.
biznes.wprost.pl/finanse-i-inwestycje/10390075/narodowy-bank-polski-masowo-drukuje-pieniadze-czeka-nas-wzrost-inflacji-bedzie-drozej.html

The National Bank of Poland is rapidly increasing the number of banknotes available on the market. More than 1.5 million of them are put into circulation every day. These are mainly high denomination banknotes. From a short-term perspective, this is an ad hoc way to keep the economy alive . However, as we know from the economy, in the long run, this may lead to high inflation, and thus also a drastic increase in the prices of products available on store shelves.

Who was ruling in 2020?? Our dear PiS.
Thank you,. PiS.

Gowin as someone who could get some things done here.

Fortunately, Gowin is generally rejected by the opposition. They see very well that renegade switched the team only after PiS threw him out. Earlier, he had voted with PiS for all controvercial and unconstitutional laws. Now he is fawning at PO and other liberals.

Down with Gowin!

In another thread, Tacitus wrote about PiS :
mafia-like structures

Holy words.
Can you imagine that PiS nominees to top positions in biggest state-controlled companies have to pay regular tribute to PiS party which nominated them???

PiS are self financing mafia leeches. The PiS nomination principle is simple - we nominate you but you have to return the favour. With hard cash.

[...............] Anna Dąbrowska from "Polityka", who was the first to look at the list of donors published by PiS, indicates that seven of the people listed on it are managers of PZU group companies: PZU board members Beata Kozłowska-Chyła, Małgorzata Sadurska, Ernest Bejda and Piotr Nowak , President of PZU Życie Andrzej Jaworski, President of TFI PZU Robert Zima and Vice-President of Ogrodowa Inwestycje Anna Sotek. In the past, Sadurska and Jaworski were PiS deputies, and in 2011 Bejda unsuccessfully ran for the Sejm from the party's list.

Only these seven people from PZU transferred a total of over PLN 267,000 to the PiS account. Four of them paid PLN 45.15 thousand PLN each or 45 thousand PLN, i.e. the maximum or almost the maximum amount allowed this year.

The list of contributors also includes three people from the supervisory board of Bank Pekao SA, who transferred PLN 37,000 to PiS's account. zloty. Ryszard Wasiłek, vice-president of the Polish Energy Group, paid PLN 8,000 in the same period. zloty.

Most of these people were described in the report by Wirtualna Polska on the remuneration of management boards and supervisory boards of listed companies whose shareholder is the state ("The Millionaires Club 'Good Change'"). In the text, we also provided the sums with which people from 19 listed companies with state participation supported PiS. The amounts alone are impressive. [......................]

Yes, but when growers don`t sell and earn, their life will lose meaning to them.

we can thank PiS for.

Yes, let`s thank them for causing gigantic inflation and squandering public money.

Polish villages and small towns, which form the backbone of PiS support are hardly in the midst of an economic crisis.
Indeed, the opposite is true.
Thanks to European funds (but not only to them), the periphery is enjoying growth and development, with low unemployment and abundant new infrastructure.
Along with the great welfare system the PiS offers these people should make for a very nice Christmas for them this year.
Most of them prefer a ham over a carp anyway. :-)
Long live PiS to make the poor unfortunates lives better by distributing some of the wealth.

Thanks to European funds

Exactly. Yet, PiS is hostile to the EU. AMaSSing paradox - they receive huge sums and bite the hand that is feeding them.

Most of them prefer a ham over a carp anyway. :-)

For Christmas you need carp first, then ham. :):)

make the poor unfortunates lives better by distributing some of the wealth.

Like Demos in the US. hahaha Paradoxically, you critisize them for doing the same thing as PiS. :):):)

Is it typical in ritardism to be so full of paradoxes?

Do you think that the periodic table or a map of the world are 'horrifically bigoted'' too?

he's got a big swinging dick lol, one threaten veto and veto on lex czarnek, the education bill restricting NGO's into schools

His reasons: he received so many letters of protest that he felt convinced the new law would introduce too much mess and unrest in education.

He might have done it on the inspiration of the First Lady who used to be a teacher. Quite liberal.

During PiS rule, the national debt has reached its record levels. No other party before had increased it as much as PiS has done. What is worse, PiS tricksters are hiding part of the debt through creative accounting.

Facts are facts.
Thank you, PiS.

During PiS rule, the national debt has reached its record levels.

Just like all countries in the world have. (ho hum)

No other party before had increased it as much as PiS has done.

Of course, it's called Inflation.

PiS tricksters are hiding part of the debt through creative accounting.

You are lucky to have such creative politicians.
Most countries don't even try to hide their sins anymore.
PiS is doing a great job for Poland as the majority sees it.
Count your blessings.
Maybe you would be happier living in Russia.

No other party before had increased it as much as PiS has done.

Which - given Poland's demographic outlook - is coming back to bite them in the future. Some debt increase during the difficult Covid years would have been justified, but that they failed to reign it in even during the booming years is inexcusable.

what are you babbling about kraut? polands demographic outlook is brilliant thanks to the arrival of genuine and hardworking ukranian refugees, majority woman and 70 percent already employed unlike your fake syrians in the reich.

Just like all countries

We don`t care about other countries. We care about Poland. PiS always attacked their rivals in power even at the times of 2008 crisis. Now it is time to point to PiS` incompetence and failures. If the opposition ruled, the economic situation would be much better, coz PiS has wasted billions.

is coming back to bite them in the future.

The problem is that the current opposition will have to deal with that mess that PiS is making now. As always - first, rightists cause chaos in economy and then others have to clean it up.

thanks to the arrival of genuine and hardworking ukranian refugees

Pity that PiS wasn`t able to create proper conditions for Polish demographic increase. Ukrainian refugees are OK but this is Poland, not Ukraine. Rightists messed that thing too - Polish females refuse to have children when they are discriminated and abused by rightists.

If the opposition ruled, the economic situation would be much better

Perhaps, perhaps not.

One thing, however, is certain - if the opposition ruled in Poland, Ukraine would be under Russian occupation at the moment or with a puppet government in a union with Russia, similar to Belarus. There would be no Polish howitzers - old Soviet types with shi*loads of 152mm ammo on top of that, no Grad rocket launchers, Pioruns, brand new Krab howtizers, hundreds of T-72s and PT-91s (equivalent of two panzer divisions) etc. etc. for Ukraine.

PO would initially react towards the war in Ukraine in exactly the same manner as their German overlords, and would start sending help and weapons with exactly the same speed and amounts as Germany initially did. Why? Because they are German lapdogs, that's why. American help wouldn't be able to arrive on time and anyway, the US didn't have the shitl*oads of post-Soviet (but modernised and in good condition) equipment ready to be sent immediately and used immediately by AFU.

Basically, anyone wishing for PO to have been in power on 24th February 2022, wishes for the quick Russian victory. So, thank God PO wasn't/isn't in power, and thank God for still free Ukraine.
Tacitus  2 | 1275

polands demographic outlook is brilliant

It really isnt, that is a statistical fact. Those Ukrainian arrival will help a bit, provided they stay, but Poland would need permanent migration of a few 100k per year to avoid the worst.

no hundreds of T-72s and PT-91s

Why would a supposedly German-aligned Polish government not have sent old Soviet equipment to Ukraine when it was Berlin that encouraged other countries to send their Soviet weapon systems to Ukraine via the Ring exchange program? Why would no Krab howlitzers have been sent when they were part of Western initiative to send modern artillery to Ukraine?

There is no reason to believe that PO would have send fewer weapons. On the other hand, the European Ukraine policy might have been implemented more swiftly at times, because a PO government would not have protected the Orban regime as shamefully as PiS did.
