I googled and could only find that there is a years long process to get German and French citizenship.
Could be, Aljona Savchenko, an Ukrainian figure skater, moved to Germany in 2003 and got the citizenship two years later:

She moved to Germany because of training conditions in her country - Ukrainian Figure Skating Federation was giving zero support to the skaters. And Germany did well by taking her in - she won for Germany a sh1tload of medals lol Savchenko is one of the most decorated pair skaters - she is an Olympic Champion and a two-time Olympic bronze medalist, a six-time World Champion, a four-time European Champion, and a five-time Grand Prix Final champion :O ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐
