The English team is the only one in history that managed to lose a "fixed" tournament!

How do we know that the racist morons were real people?

Ok fair enough, I stay well away from Youtube as it's just full on soul cancer so I didn't follow the link but can imagine that it probably contains evidence that doesn't back up my previous naïve post. Well done to Italy though, was relieved for Jorginho the guy who missed Italy's last penalty.

I didn't watch the game and so didn't find out the result the next day, but.... can anyone explain England's penalty strategy?

The last guy was so young.... insane to put him in that kind of situation.... one theory I've read is that wanted the visual of a black player shooting the winning goal for England so they could use that for propaganda purposes....

If that's the case then it backfired on them big time. Three black players missed their penalties.

I suppose that will teach some people not to mix politics with sport (and hopefully this idiotic kneeling ritual stops as well).

This is everything you need to know about Polish sport at every level in every sport;

There should not be "Polish" sport. Or any other country sport. Qualifying should be only on the basis of the last documented result. If it's a tie, a coin flip - not sexual orientation or a sob story. See: tennis.

And no beauty sports. If it's not in seconds, meters, kilos, or a score, it ain't no sport but an invitation to corruption.

Excellent news!

It would be more excellent if the US won. Poland's two medals are nothing special if you look who is ahead. Serbia, Kosovo, Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia...Even New Zealand with just 5 million has 10. So, let's ease off on the pride pedal a bit.

Share the joy you hateful old frump.

Oh shut up. Who cares? Yes, others have more medals but others have less. Let's get joy where we can

On principle, he's against other people feeling joy... a real Donnie Downer (and he'd like to remind you that Feline AIDS is the number one killer of domestic cats).....

You are onto something. The most negative person I've ever met.

Apparently teams want to sue over letting Americans compete in the final.

over letting Americans compete in the final

The fault wasn't theirs (according to what I've read) but one of the judges positioned a runner in the wrong place... so

The most negative person I've ever met.

We never met. Poland - 2 medals per 40 million population. New Zealand - 10 medals per 5 million or 40 times more. Not even close.
I am all for joy on a personal basis. Once you say "Poland", it's a lie. Poland didn't win anything. Citizens who happened to be born in Poland did. That's it. I am happy for them.

Poland out in the wrestling and beach volleyball quarter finals and 7th place in team sprint cycling.

Not a great day today but a busy one tomorrow with a medal chance for Poland.

Medals are awarded to individuals, not countries.

Come on Captain Happy, let's split hairs just to argue.
The individuals are representing the country so the metal goes to the country also.

OK, Weatherman, anything I said that's not true?
