Congrats to both....football is bad for my nerves! 😊

Donnarumma is a legend :) Well done, Italy.

A worthy follower for the legend Buffon!

England's nightmare record on penalties continues.

Now we are friends with our english supporters again....

But I'm not sad for Southgate....his WWII crap was totally unnecessary!

Let's hope that this Euros final will mark the end of taking the knee, and we won't see it again in football.

Hey, Euros, you have a three-ace winning hand when debating soccer vs this abomination called American football but you are, as always, too timid to win it.

Now the german Mannschaft has to rebuild too, the Italians have come real close!

Italy have won their sixth major tournament title (4 World Cup, 2 EUROs); among European nations, only Germany (7) have won more.

What a great end for that tournament.....I need a break now too, 'night all! :)

AMEN!!!!

@BB

What did Southgate say about WWII?

So Italy won. Is the globe still spinning?

But I'm not sad for Southgate....

Southgate is a born loser, both as a player and now as a coach.

Motorcades in Germany already....

There are fireworks near me.

:)

He made it to the Euro finals and planned a pretty solid scheme that almost won the game. Not what I'd call a born loser.

As for the "legendary English fair play and class": English players took off the silver medals immediately after receiving them, and the Italian team was decorated on a virtually empty stadium.

Classless in victory, classless in defeat.

Whats nearly worse....the moment the black players failed their penalties the racist abuse by those "fans" started....can you believe it!

can you believe it!

No, I cannot, but all this calls for action. So...

@English NT

For your unsportsmanlike conduct, for the behaviour of your "fans", for the nonsense spouted by your coach - I hereby put a curse on you:

... you shall not play in the next final (either Euro or World Cup) for the next 55 years, and when you finally, after another agonizing half-a-century wait, get to your next final, you will lose it again.

So it is said, so the curse is put.

Gareth Southgate wanted to create "heroes" for the BLM movement but this decision backfired badly and has instead marked them for life.

1/1 we're going to be reading about racism on Twitter in the following days...

As somebody from the UK, I was pleased to see Italy win as they have a great togetherness and spirit in the team. How do we know that the racist morons were real people? Could easily just be people seeking to seek to create havoc. Time to switch off, you cannot trust a single thing you read online, it has been hijacked by hatred.

Probably just emotions running wild, looking for excuses as to how it wasn't "their" failure.

Those people have it worse to recuperate emotionally as their easily most disliked in the modern society for obvious reasons

How do we know that the racist morons were real people?

Were those who spat on Danish supporters (including children) for wearing Danish jerseys real people? Were those assaulting opposing teams' supporters before the games real? Were those booing other nations' anthems and calling a little girl nazi-c*nt real people? Is your coach raving about WW2 a real person?

Maybe all of that wasn't real?

Bizarre! How many in the stadium during the game against Germany were even alive during the blitz? A bunch of non-sense.
