On Monday , Prime Minister Donald Tusk commented on the information provided by the Lithuanian prosecutor's office on Platform X.

"The Lithuanian prosecutor's office has stated that Russian special services are behind the arson attacks in Vilnius and Warsaw (Marywilska). In line with our suspicions. Similarly to the attempt to set fire to the paint factory in Wrocław, the Russians hired Ukrainian citizens," he wrote. He also assessed that this was "exceptional perfidy."

Shortly after, Tusk published another post in which he appealed to allies. "Dear allies, the investigation by the Lithuanian prosecutor's office confirmed our suspicions that Russian special services were responsible for the arson attacks on shopping malls in Vilnius and Warsaw. It is good to know this before negotiations. Such is the nature of this state," the head of government wrote.
