would have the same rights as everybody else.

Everybody has the same rights. Would you change that?

intellectual and spiritual void of modern Europeans

Yes. Which is why we have to manage migration, before migration manages us.

It will happen, and it is on our (even our multicultural) society to manage it well.

then you will have exactly what happens with islam in Europe now

Nah....if we Europeans would had stood true to our real own spirits and beliefs and not forget about all of our true roots for some far away traditions (christianity) we wouldn't today not need to be so fearful of some other far away traditions (islam)! :)

Would you change that?

I would not want to live in a muslimic society....and if they have the same rights then they only need the numbers to make our countries islamic!

And I never heard from you an idea to stop them from becoming so many....the only other way to stop that development is to discriminate against islam!

The situation at the border. Migrants were robbed and beaten with a crowbar on the Polish side

Why should I care for some dirty pagan animals?

Paganism didn't turn Europe into the most powerful continent on Earth, Christianity did. When we abandoned our faith, our power shrank as well.

.....might be!

But that doesn't count for Islam, doesn't it....the most islamist countries are quite weak, backwards and no danger for Europe at all!
GefreiterKania  31 | 1433
13 Nov 2021   #938
Not as countries, of course, but as a religious and demographic force taking over our lacklustre and pussified societies they are a real danger indeed!

.the most islamist countries are quite weak

It's worth not confusing Islamists with Muslims.

Every religion has its extreme ultra-conservative fringe; all of them are crazies. The expression of that within Islam comes form people who happen to have (for now) the oil revenue to promote that extreme conservatism.

If Cromwell had gold mines, the world would be a different place.

Compared to your home country Germany ?
How do you think you would do one on one with Turkey ,Pakistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia or India in a war ?

but as a religious and demographic force taking over...

*nods*

True...can't wait to end our dependence on THAT! (For the environment too, heh:)

Compared to your home country Germany ?

Right now Germany reminds me about the interwar years, after the treaty of Versailles.....but it didn't take the Nazis long to rebuild, the expertise and the experience was still all there.

Turkey ,Pakistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia or India in a war ?

Depends.....do they have to pray three times a day also during battle? :)

India is not an islamic country and Pakistan has atomic weapons (so that would be a bit unfair). Against other countries mentioned by you Germans would win easily - believe me, we Poles know them, they are a bunch of tough sons-of-b*tches when push comes to shove.

It's worth not confusing Islamists with Muslims.

The problem is that Islam has no way of challenging the.... stupidest parts of the hadiths (a much bigger problem than the koran itself). There's no modern tradition of interpreting anything except in the most literal and context free way possible.

And islamic beliefs, when widespread and literal (which is all there is now), tend to have a stultifying effect on a culture. Migration tends to strengthen religious belief so it will have a stultifying effect on anywhere in Europe where it gains a solid presence.

Belief in bunnies and unicorns and rainbows does not (and will not) change that.

challenging

Oil money; either when fossil fuels stop, or the fuels them selves run out.

a much bigger problem than the koran

The Quran isn't a problem; hadiths are open to interpretation, different ones are more authoritative than others and Shi'a generally have their ow. Not all Muslims accept hadithi at all.

igration tends to strengthen religious belief

It hasn't so much in the UK. If anything, the opposite with more recent arrivals aside from the villagey ones in the 70s. (cue a doilum posting a newspaper article about soem extremist with a hook for a hand or the one who used to put stickers up everywhere, or some demented right-wing bomber).

It'll happen anyway; migration and movement have been around as long as international trade and are here for good.

Anyway, don't we have a thread in off-topic about Islam, for the bilious to spit their bile in?

Back to the topic of the Belarus/Poland border escalation (and according to the news, it's escalating right now) there's something cheerful to look at:

Today in Germany's biggest tabloid BILD:

Kommentar Danke, Polen!

bild.de/politik/kolumnen/kolumne/kommentar-danke-polen-78230606.bild.html

(google translate)

It is one of the last lessons for Chancellor Angela Merkel: Poland is closing its many hundreds of kilometers long border!

What, according to Merkel, was supposedly not possible with us in 2015, our neighbors are successfully implementing in a short period of time.

Poland is thus impressively resisting a perfidious game with refugees. And shows the despots in Minsk and Moscow the red card.

That's right!

The EU states must not allow themselves to be blackmailed by Putin and Lukashenko. You must also prevent refugees from entering the country uncontrolled.

Poland does just that.

The government in Warsaw is also showing that it has learned its lessons from the 2015 refugee crisis. And thus helps the entire EU - including Germany.

The Polish government therefore deserves recognition for its course. Not malice and criticism.

Thank you Poland!

I don't know about in times of battle but devout Muslims pray five times a day.
Hope.that helps.....

Oil money

The internet... made literal interpretations of koran and hadiths widely available to tens/hundreds of millions of people who had little idea before and practice 'folk islam' a much more friendly and restrained version. In any religion literalism is a one way ticket to backwardness.

to spit their bile

We need to be honest about who's trying to get in...

hasn't so much in the UK. If anything, the opposite

Soooooo how did Rotherham (and similar cases in many other British cities) happen again?

In news that should shock only the most liberal of readers, most of those involved in trying to smuggle migrants through Poland to Germany are............ (wait for it)......... immigrants to Germany! 2015, ladies and gentlemen! The gift that keeps on giving! Thanks Angela!!!!! Heck of a job!!!!!!!

Meaning the overwhelming majority.

Rotherham

I know the town well. Even very. Was the sex scandal (which you've doubtless read about online) religious? All the evidence suggests that it was anything but...

Cars with German plates have been queuing up on the border for days to pick up their relatives.

Was the sex scandal .... religious?

I only know of one major world religion that supports the idea of sex slavery.... and it's not Baháʼí....

I only know of

And you're trying to pretend that the grooming scandal in Rotherham was something to do with religion? Oh dear...

And this thread is about the Belarus/Poland border crisis. Which also isn't about religion.

Civilized people ask first if they can come in. Those that break in are shot. Case closed.
