NATO has nukes. Poland is a full member of NATO. Therefore Poland has nukes.

yes, many nice things for Poland from NATO.

Facing a state that has threatened its neighbours with nuclear attack makes

not on their territory

a naive and ridiculous concept.
Russia's plans for nuclear war is also

not on their territory

I would expect that Poland's membership of the NPT would finish the moment nukes started exploding over Poland. Lets hope the F16's are nuclear capable.

Edited - I doubt sheer firepower will play the main role. If anything, information and energy capabilities will be the keynote speakers.

Which ever country is stupid enough to launch one first...... no other country will
dare after they see that country turned into glass by NATO within minutes.
Poland is safe there.
I agree with Polsyr, information (cyber) and energy (being self sufficient) will be
the keys, not nukes.
Poland is safe there also.

Help Poland acquire atomic weapons (or at least don't put any obstacles to her acquiring them).

Yes, quite an attractive idea to have them.
But reality is brutal - Poland as a democracy anchored in Central Europe, NATO and the EU so it can`t break the non-proliferation treaty. If we do, we will be treated as North Korea. Poles and Polesses won`t bear it.

Can I suggest a solution which perfectly suits your style of thinking from another post of yours?? When Belarus led by mad Lukashenka threatens or even attacks Poland, Polish troops should immediately answer with a short invasion aimed at capturing Russian nukes stored in Belarus. Having them, we will be safe at last.

How do you like my idea which in fact is yours???

in the European Union, only France has nuclear weapons. It is not enough. More countries with nuclear weapons needed after Britain left the EU. For example, Poland could actually have nuclear weapons.

Poland has signed the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, so it can't have its' own nuclear weapons (and Poland unlike Russia usually adheres to international law).

I would also argue that the financial costs for an effective nuclear deterrent is too high. Better to instead increase Poland's conventional deterrence and supply Ukraine with more weapons.

Poland has signed the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons

If russia does not stop threatening other countries with the use of nuclear weapons, this treaty will no longer apply. The question remains how much time will Germany or Poland need to produce their own nuclear weapons if, for example, russia uses them in Ukraine.

It is prohibitively expensive to build a nuclear triad. You need to build submarines, strategic bombers, and intercontinental ballistic missiles.

However, Poland doesn't need any of that. Instead, Poland should develop primitive dirty bombs, strategically dispersed around the country.

This way, in true Christ-like fashion, Poland will be able to fully irradiate its land in the event of a foreign invasion - denying the land to the aggressor.

This unique, "I'm gonna kill myself if you take one step closer" approach, perfectly matches the spirit and history of Poland.

It will signal to the rest of the world, who the true moral leader is. Other countries build nukes to kill others, while Poland is the only country that developed nukes to use against itself. Shocked by such unparalleled selflessness, the international community will not enforce the provisions of the NPT.

submarines, strategic bombers, and intercontinental ballistic missiles.

Poland doesn't need it. Only small but fast medium-range rockets would be enough to reach Moscow and maybe Leningrad.

You don't like my idea of a harakiri nuke?

harakiri nuke?

This idea is not discouraging. russian soldiers dug in in the area of Chernobyl and stayed there for several weeks. When they came out, even their balls were shining.

There is a nuclear plant near Leningrad aka Sankt Petersburg.

What do you people mean by the "nukes"? It's another mind-manipulating production of the big gov and disney. It apparently works because people are afraid of the nukes even though there is no evidence, besides manufactured videos and fake stories from the 60ties, about their "devastating" impact. They can produce no more damage than regular bombs because they are just regular bombs.

How else would you force tax payers to pay billions a year for NATO and Pentagon? I guess the same way they pay for NASA. Create fake stories reinforced by fake images and movies, teach it at schools, and people take it as a fact even though they have never researched the truth.

Exactly! Like the Soviet human mission into space in 1960s! Pure fakism!

people take it as a fact even though they have never researched the truth.

They are brainwashed homo sovieticuses. Many are voters for Polish PiS bolsheviks.

It used to be so but cosmic forces made it round after some time. A woman called Copernicus discovered it. Didn`t you know about it??? Strange............

So you do not deny that our laikas and chimpanzees made it?

Meanwhile, you cannot even launch a potato into the stratosphere.
pawian  221 | 25287

you cannot even launch

True. Because we didn`t capture Nazi German Wunderwaffe rocket scientists with their technology to work for us like Stalin did. :):):) hahahaha If not for Germans, Russians would be still flying kites into space! hahahaha buhahahaha

Hey, talking about launching, do you remember the fastest watch in the world called Raketa made in the USSR??? hahahaha buhahahaha hihihihi hohohoho I can`t... huhuhuhu

I got a joke for you:

Two men were talking: one was a Pole, the other was Russian.
- Is it true that in Poland people don't speak Russian, but some other language?

- Of course, in reality we speak in Polish.

- Yes? How would you say "Dom" in Polish?

- Dom.

- Hm. What then will "selo" be like?

- Sielo.

- Strange. Well, what will "zhopa" be like then?

- Dupa!

- And for this you fight?

Alien  24 | 5723

Dupa

City of Troy was destroyed because of a good 'dupa'.

good 'dupa'.

When I was a small boy, I thought that Russian written in Latin letters was English.

Only when I became older did I understand that this was not English but Polish.

Nuclear weapons are a major expensive headache. Sure you want to get in that inescapable rat-hole?

Sure you want to get in that inescapable rat-hole?

They're worried about their survival, so no price seems too great.

That is, other than behaving like human beings towards Russia. That is too much.
